  1. Re: Still walkin' the beat, 25,000 years later... Very Cool, good encounter creature especially for my adventure group as they will be exploring ancient dwarven ruins soon.
  2. Re: Need "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" Stats You would want a decent amount of regular PD also. He has been thrown into walls by Aries and wacked by swinging log traps and gotten up from them, and combat luck just doesn't explain that type of durability.
  3. Re: Points or $ I have never had a character buy their equipment with experience points. Experience points IMHO are for character development like increasing skills ane . They usually buy their stuff with money. If they bought it with experience points and lost it they would be out points, and that would bite. With a money purchase system, your heros can loose or have their equipment destroyed and they are not out a bunch of points. Case and point, one of my characters dipped her sword in a moat to see if it was ok to cross, and a water elemental came out and broke her sword in half. With special equipment for example "The Firey Sword of Slaying" the player would have to come up with reasonable way to have it or have aquired it in the climax of an adventure I ran.

  5. Re: How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was on fire? - Curse help Maybe I am being dense , but why have 10pd on the armor, fire is an energy attack isn't it?
  6. Re: Does wearing armor need a skill ? I have never required a skill for wearing armor. Usually, it just a roleplaying aspect, like not seeing through your helm as well and a few minuses to your PER. It does sound like a good idea for the wearing of plate though.
  7. Re: My Prefabs for FH Very useful. thank you
  8. Re: Character: Sir Merriya de Blackmere, knight and paladin wow, very nice. I like all the detail given about the character and the equipment she carries. Krim
  9. Re: Stun Problem in Fantasy Hero (Double it) Rarely have I had that problem. Most hits that are dealt out, are on the chest and arms, not much stun from those. I also use dramatic effect in some cases rather than following the rules to a tee, ie... you swing your sword and sever the goblins arm off at the elbow, the goblin looks down at his bleeding stump, then falls in a heap at your feet. I also have enemies after taking a few hits run screaming into the dark. I don't like tying my players down with extended fights when it isn't neccessary. So for me the standard rules like hit locations and the like work just fine. Krim
  10. My question is how is the special effect of your teleportation working? Knowing and defining that would be my first thought, ie... what is going on when you teleport that would cause damage? That AE thing is neat, and it would be a half phase action by the way. because the movement by teleportation is the action, the linked AE is a very nasty special effect of the teleportation. I would just buy another teleport to make up for the fact that I really wouldn't want to destroy things when not fighting.
