  1. Hi all i'm thinking about some minor NPC (both good and villain) my PC could encounter during the campaign i'm playing. Just because i'm not using official settings, this does'nt means i can't use chars from the books, so i'm looking at DC:TAS for some "suggestion" and i see at Scarlet like someone who could fit in the campaign (it's low power superheroic, more similar to hudson city powers from DC:TAS) not using magic nor demons as superpowers origins, i'm planning some little change on her, mainly the origins (she's a mutant but she believe in being a demonic possession) but also some powers; so suggestion under campaign use paragraph are not really appropriate. first of all i whant to power up her bike, like giving them a remote control (like suggested in the description). Now the problem: how could i add remote control to a veichle? add a computer to it? or building it really like an automaton? or i just need to add some power to her (like "summon bike" or special indirect attacks wich special effect are "the bike will trample you from different direction")? secondary, i'm planning on enhancing her control on the bike (like some DCV and or OCV bonus on the bike), but what's the limitations value for a "only while raiding her bike"? -1 or -½? and last, but not least, i need some suggestion about simple power she could explain like a machine control; something really low power and more DC:TAS theme; for instance a "strange gadget she could use 'cause of her control on technology" is cool, a "create robot minions from scraps" is not adequate :\ btw, thanks you all for helping and advices
  2. Re: Help for set (super)heroic perspective in my campaign mmmhhh ok i'd try to find an anwers; it's not like i'm replying you it's just so i could fix them in a place ok there is an underworld who already knows about them; but it's common interest (for both metas and some government agencies) to keep them not known. So far, they always covered when someone gone noticed and also, metas where very carefully now, there is need of "something" they can't hide i think only 2 different course of actions: 1) maybe PC help a lot of people (like, facing a catastrophe so they don't have time to cover their back and also many people are involved) there is no official information on this BUT something leaks on internet: a video on youtube, facebook page, or blog for starting, something very low but with potential unlimited growth after that, everytime they do something "good" like, you know, helping people or saving someone, internet community keep growning. "they" could be the PC or also metahumans in general; they could also see what other meta do and, maybe, be inspired (or fight them if they are acting criminals) then, one day, someone else (like a villain, or a harmless and unlucky showoff) start with something BIG just to say at the world "hey, i'm here too" and this is the escalation: that will hit the public opinion, and that's the bomb. 2) another way to do it is a BIG villain: someone who think he could be the King of the World (and also got some powers to help them). and the world will know the metahumans, maybe in the worst way possible i'm not very "fan" of religious group but i don't whanna start a religion war. So maybe official big religions will keep it the moderate way: metahumans are normal people so deserve normal considerations obviously, this does'nt prevent some individual cases of racism or adoration: a priest on a little church could point them like "satan touched" while one in a different church could point them as "hands of God". i already did a npc who was a nun when discovered their powers (and she believe is an instrument of God's will) but when faced with that she was been excommunicated Oh and maybe new religious groups start seeing them like "The Blessed", descendent of ancient gods born in this time to bring peace and yadda yadda I think the "i got nothing against them, but i will whant them out of my town" is more realistic... Eh this is a very good question... they keep surprising me: they are VERY paranoid but also they almost recklessly allied with government secret agency, so i really don't know what will be their reaction... x.x yep... i think the "complex" way is what will be more appreciated

  4. Re: Help for set (super)heroic perspective in my campaign ok ok this is way more "vague and unclear" than previous post main question i need to find an answer is: what i would whant for the campaign? what will be the "goal" of second (third, fourth...) season of this "serial"? assuming my answer is "let the PC rise as the first of their generation, first metahumans in the world, and be known like the first heroes of the world". Not planning on making them true iconic legends like Superman or The Avenger, maybe more like three-dimensional "shades of grey" superpeople who become famous to be the first using their special powers to enforce the law and the justice etc etc. something more like "dark knight" or "watchmen"; and of course, the first one of their species, so facing problems like "mutant hysteria" or "social integration" of metahumans in the normal society, etc but if becoming "super powered crimefighter" is the final goal, they sure will need to do "little steps" toward this goal. so my question is: how do i develop this slow walking to the "goal"? some ideas are: - PC discover there is an underworld of metahumans, people who born with those powers and always being hidden. They also discover there are a lot of "new" metahumans, people who just discovered their powers, like the PC did The true born metahumans are afraid, because they all fear the "noob" will be caught and then all people will know about metahumans and they all be hunted and killed - they start to see some more metahuman accident: they had to cover for flying man spotting, or people entirely burned. - maybe also facing some big criminal event who only a metahuman can do. and they are the only one who can stop this meta-criminal - Something very dangerous happens; something natural like an earthquake or a flood or a volcano... something who could easily kill thousand of people. something very drastic like Valjont Dam, L'Aquila eartquake or like And probably they will go "giving help". And soon they will discover they could use their powers to save a lot of people: things like telekinetyc blocking a rampaging river, using teleport to save people from house crashes and debris or also a super runner providing food to the homeless profugees - someone start looking at them. they will be exposed and start attracting attention. they will discover blog talking about them: "who are the misterious four people helping the innocents"? if they don't protect their face someone will soon start stalking them, following and asking them for autograph; or to be saved. Or, worse, to beat them just to show they are not "the hero of the world" (i think at someone with utility or foxbat mind) - whenever public opinion start discovering their nature and the existance of metahumans, a metahuman appears and start robbing banks or killing people. Or, worse, it appears like hero of the world but they discover he's just an impostor and the like problem is i got no much ideas, and most important i don't know hop really i could develop those one. how much adventure i need to set? they will need to slowly discover the existance of a metahuman underworld or just discover an entire full underworld in a few hours of game play? they need to spend an entire story arc to save people from a tragedy or just a few sessions? they need to face ordinary people or suddenly be faced only metahumans? they will need to slowly adapt to their new powers or being forced to quickly change their lives? this is the "concern" (not really a problem) i was searching help for... btw, ty for everyone who are whilling to give me some advices (and also, to eveeryone who really understand what i'm writing x.x )
  5. Re: Help for set (super)heroic perspective in my campaign mmmhh i see my description was a bit "vague and unclear" i was trying to keep it short but ended up... well... i already said "vague and unclear"? so, i'll try to explain a little more - magic does'nt exists - technology is pretty the same of real world in XXI century. "pretty the same" is the trick 'cause i assume there is some sort of "superscience": alien technology retro-engineered, or some sort of tech not available at open market they know the tech is way more advanced than what you see in the shops: they found a computer of the '90 a little less advanced than modern days notebook, or a bluetooth earphone almost 40 years old. plus, i'm planning on using some "minor villain" like Utility, Lazer and the like (from Conquerors Killers and Crooks) as some sort of "mask hunter mercenaries" who lies in the "grey area" (between good and evil). And to made them believable i need to made some sort of "superscience" - they are some sort of hidden techonologies developed only (almost only) by Prometeus (aka the villaineous people ) like some sort of nanotechnology, super drugs and like. this technology is only used to justify powers for the villains as for origins, there is some distinct origins: - born metahumans; those one where the only one until few months ago. They are born with meta powers. we could argue they are descendent of genetics experiments made by aliens in the stone age, or just evolution gifted. - the new meta; those ones where normal people until 2 months ago when they discovered metahumans powers. They are results of experiments done on some chosen children. PC are of those type - Not Metahumans; those are the ones "gifted" with special powers by the use of special drugs, nanomachines and similar (Prometeus agents) or normal people using super technology (like Utility or Lazer) For metahumans, the powers are manifestation of "bioenergetic field" (aka orgone); someone call this also "aura" or "chi energy". basically, they all use their bioenergetic field: telekinesys is like some sort of "tentacle made by orgonic energy" while pirokinesys is "orgonic energy producing heat and then ignite" and similar. "Normal World" does'nt know anything about metahumans. They exists from a while, documented existance is for last 40 years and they speculate also from last century. However, the public is totally unaware. Sometime someone see a man flying and call it an ufo, or see some strange event and call it an hallucinatory thing. Sometime, someone need to cover their tracks erasing all witness and/or creating fake stories. This is how everything worked, metahumans where very few, and also very scared and willing to get a normal life, hiding their differences or be treated like freaks or strangeness-to-be-vivisected. But now, something will change: 1) metahuman population is suddenly increased. And the "new meta" is almost all adult being; they could be frustrated nerd who always whanted to be special or self aware businessmen who think this is just a consequence of their being or even a religious one believing to be "gifted by God". and like 2) Prometeus (and also some similar people all around the world, but that's outside the campaign) until now where using very dangerous methods to create artificial metahumans; now they could find a way to re-create metahumans, and also use real meta for their work. Prometeus agent are bound with a drug dependencies who also made them die quickly if catpured and their internal organ quickly decompose. So Prometeus agents where not easy to be captured, and analysed. Starting using real metahumans, they could be captured and also being "discovered" so Prometeus will need to change their plans And this is the "central problem": sooner or later the public world will discover metahumans. And the PC could be burnt at the stake, or rise as heroes of the world. The main question is... how could i do it?
  6. Re: Wrath of God yes yes the 7th one
  7. Re: Force Field Power Question as for shield, someone already adviced to use force wall. also, you can multipower that with a missile deflection/reflection if you like the idea as for the "rebouncing" effect, you could: - build a power that does knockback; you can do it with an EB with "no damage, only to calculate KB" and x2 KB (and also Does Knockback if you campaign does'nt support it). Other ways exists, like a telekinesys "only to throw away from me" or like - limit it to "up to incoming attack active points" or "up to incoming attack damage" or like - trigger it to auto start whenever someone hit the shield
  8. Ok, so we all read the books and we all know that tk grab works basically like a normal grab, but at range. So, when you hit with a "tk grab" you can choose to squeeze or throw a target; and in the later phases you can choose to throw/squeeze again BUT you need another hit roll: failure means you spend entire action to keep grabbed the target and no squeeze/throw is accomplished but what if you whant to squeeze/throw a target already grabbed AND do something else, like grabbing a second target? or you got two different target tk grabbed and you whant to throw one and squeeze the other? and what if you whant to squeeze a grabbed char and in the meantime do another attack action, like one with another power? you need to to it with a multiple attack/sweep? or just doing an "attack roll" with tk to squeeze/throw is a "zero phase attack action"? other question to tk grab: if i grab someone (with "normal" grab) he can't move because is grabbed what if i grab someone with telekinesys? obviously if i grab leg (or wings) he can't use them so no problem. Or if i lift him on the air and he got no flying mode. But what if i whant to halt someone flying with rocket pack (or other not-restrainable flying mode)? my rule of thumb is calculating "throw distance" (aka how much you can move a tk grabbed char) and then subtract them from flying movement of the target it is correct? or i just need to keep in mind tk grabbed char is "held" and cannot move by himself? ty al for answer
  9. Hi all today i'm not asking about rules or how to build some powers; today i'm asking for help (suggestions and advices, 'cause there is no really "a problem to solve") for my campaign The Basis it all started with the idea to do something low powerful superheroic ("like Heroes but with more sense" was the catch line) btw, me and the players both agreed that game is not intended to be planned, but both need to play together and set, adventure by adventure, the "perspective" (aka the "mood") of the game so far, one year later (we started at july 2010...), the game gone more like an extremely paranoid "misfits" (the serie), with PC who are normal people who happens to get superpowers, trying to get a quasi-normal life while the GM throw them inside adventures now at the start of season 2 Something Changed they agreed to become special agent in RS33, a super-secret government agency (something similar to Men In Black or Torchwood) who where chasing for alien "things" and ended up with facing some meta (the PC) now they'r duty is to fight the evilness, help innocent, go here and there with costumes (aka uniforms), wearing masks (aka hoods or war paint) and using aliases (aka codename) they are justified to be "dragged" into adventure and obviously they are forced to be a team. However, you can't go from Misfit to JLA in one single game session plus i need to decide what will be the "most plausible" goal of the campaign and then, i'm totally unprepared for this change (never would have thought about it...) So, that's the point where i did ask for your advices (and that's the point Lifo need to stop reading, if he's doing so ) a little more Background information: world is unaware of meta; it's like real world, where everyone know Supes is just a comic book and noone can shoot laser from eyes nor flying. But metahumans does exists: they are very little in number, hiding because who knows about them whant to study and/or hunt them; so they are very afraid of "coming out". in this settings, many years ago some illegal labs where trying to build their "artificial" meta doing experiments on childrens and pregnant women. This experiments did not produces results, so was discarded; those labs later turned into Prometeus, a sect who finally a decade ago discovered some special drugs to give temporary powers to willing subjects the childrens rise unaware of their past, until July 11 2011, where after an accident 4 of them discovered some special abilities: one can teleport, one can create steel resistent ice, etc. they are not very powerful being (150+100 in 5 edition rules) but sure more than normal people They later discover this is a conjunction of several cosmic events (peak of solar cicle, a comet passing close to the earth, etc) who "triggered" their powers. This 4 guys are the PC but are not alone: other people become metahumans so, there are... where almost no metahumans; now there are a lot more: between people from early prometeus labs becoming metahumans, Prometeus capturing real metahumans and starting creating/recruiting first metahumans, and people starting to arming themselves against the newrisen metahumans, world will become a more dangerous place Player will make the difference, this is sure. The Future but now... what whould be the evolution of the campaign? i'm planning on move them slowly toward the "people with superpower" to the "superheroes"; at the end of the season 2 (or maybe season 3 or 4) they will need to become the paragon of their era, or hide from "mask hunters" (or both) this has to be made with very very very caution or this would seems forced; too rush and the feeling of being the first ones will be spoiled. putting too many "early metahumans" would do the same. too slow and the game will die in paranoia and "all days life" boring sessions but what whould be, in your opinion, the steps they need to become superheroes? and how quickly/slowly they will need to become (super)heroes? if you read until this point, and you understood what i wrote, you are really a superpowered being i will thank you for giving me some advices (and hope you could forgive my very bad spelling: english is not my native language and 2 point is not so much for writing complex forum posts )
  10. Re: Wrath of God mmmhhh... let'see... 1 - transmuting water in blood could be just a CE; ok no really "killing all lifeform" but i think the presence effect is the same 2, 3, 4 and 8 - invasion of frog/flies/lice/locust it's just a summon with must inhabit locale (save from frog, and maybe locust, lice and flies could be easily found) 6 - could just be a killing damage, maybe at touch range (or area of effect centered on herself) 7 - blizzard ok this is fine. could be "just" a CE or maybe a killing damage at area centered on herself 9 - darkness hmmm i suppose... darkness? 5 and 10 - skippable. too specific u.u btw, they don't need to be _exactly_ like the plague; maybe something that could be assimilated to them. Just the "water as blood" (CE with added some Killing Damage like boiling water) or the "blizzard" (a CE with killing damage) could be enough...
  11. Re: Wrath of God mmmhhh this could be cool i'm wondering how i could do something without looking "too much super" (power level is fairly low in the campaign) but keeping them still very scaring and very dangerous (and also uncontrolled ) i was thinking also of a powerful attack/series of attacks manifesting as a stand-like form (or GL Construct) easily mistaken by "the Angel of Death" but again, the low power-ness of the campaign force me to carefully think about it...
  12. Hi all i need a suggestion for a npc in my superheroic campaign Sister Agatha is a meta, she got some sort of superpower in early age, and she belive is a "message" of God, something to tell her to take the vows and go helping the others however, her power is very powerful, very dangerous and uncontrollable; one night she gone uncontrolled and slaughtered a lot of innocent people, people she had to protect what whould be the power effect (and/or power set)? it has to be - powerful - lethal and very dangerous (ie poison cloud, rka aoe centered on herself, ecc.) - something clearly visible and who could be mistaken as a Wrath of God manifestation (by someone fervent religious) setting is modern day, italy; campaign is low level/standard superheroic; there is no public knowledge of metahumans, only very secretive agencies could know something ruleset is 5er (but really i don't think rule is the problem here...) ty for your help =)
  13. Re: CHAR: Green Lantern aw, man... in italy we have to wait until 08/31 to see the film è_é ps: why don't get also kyle? and guy? and john? and kilowog? and... ok ok... building 7200 different GL would be a little too much... u.u
  14. Hi all in the last session, PC was attacked by a modified AoE version of Metal's Doom spell (FHG 85) basically, the spell "weakens with rust and sometime also destroy it" metals object; effect is a RKA who just damage metals modified version i used was 4m radius area, and stated it only affect rustable metals (so it affect iron and steel but not gold and silver nor magical items) ok it rusted away focus and armors and weapons etc. but then they "i pick the one i got inside the backpack"... so problem arose: this spell will affect objects inside backpack? at full strenght, lesser strenght, or not at all? special effect is it affect metals with rust; i stated it affect metal "element" so doesn't need to see them...
  15. Re: Single armor pieces Hi if you whant an hyper-realistic calculation you could count the "chance of hitting" specific location, and then compare it with "activation roll" probabilities i mean: hit location and chance of being hit: 3 0,46% 4 1,39% 5 2,78% 6 4,63% 7 6,94% 8 9,72% 9 11,57% 10 12,50% 11 12,50% 12 11,57% 13 9,72% 14 6,94% 15 4,63% 16 2,78% 17 1,39% 18 0,46% and 3d6 roll chance: 3- 0,46% 4- 1,85% 5- 4,63% 6- 9,26% 7- 16,20% 8- 25,93% 9- 37,50% 10- 50,00% 11- 62,50% 12- 74,07% 13- 83,80% 14- 90,74% 15- 95,37% 16- 98,15% 17- 99,54% 18- 100,00% so if your armor cover locations 10-13 it's 46,3% chance -> roughly 10- roll if your armor cover 15-18 is 9,26% -> 6- roll etc. so far, you need to expand the "requires a roll" table in 6E1 389 to include even the 3- roll. btw, if this is too complex or inappropriately too realistic, best thing could be a flat modifier, something like "standard -3 for a single location, 1/4 less limitation for each additional location"; you'd probably whant to give an additional 1/4 less limitation for location 9-12 'cause those are really too easier to be hit
  16. Re: Were-courtesan: multiform, magic and true form yes, howl, not bark i was confused btw maybe i'd just add it as an alternate form; rule-wise is better and easier. Maybe then add some special power to true form i permitted to the lycanthrope PC in the team to get regeneration in the true form (humanoid) too and also tracking and targeting with smell, so i'd permit to a npc to get some special power tied to her alternate forms
  17. Re: Were-courtesan: multiform, magic and true form afaik it's not changed btw i use 5er problem is not if alternate form is more powerful than true form; is mostly a "philosophical" thing: improving your alternate form is not an easy thing; you need to spend 5 point in true form's power different from multiform for everyone you spend in multiform. Plus, adding skills, powers, perks, talents ecc in a "lesser" alternate form (one that's not the most powerful one) is a tricky thing now, i can freely build this one as i like: is a NPC so no "problem" but i'm thinking: it's logical that she invest all this time in improving her humanoid form? whould not easier to improve true form in a way or another? if she's the alpha of a lycanthrope pack including powerful guild wizard, rich merchant and influent courtesan, it's not possible she could get a way to use magic in her true form? if i would play this char, i would try to do it. it's easeier, cheaper and faster to expand my true form power. I could undestand contacts, perks, fringe benefit and like are only in humanoid form but why an humanoid wizard can build a spell without gestures, incantation, focus limitation and a werewolf cannot? assuming she can always use as a focus her "collar" or something else appendend to it; she's intelligent more than most humanoids even in wolfhound form, so she can learn magical language and she can read books. With proper mod to spells (ie researching specific one) she can also use "incantation spell" (assuming she cannot "speak" humanoid language, she can "bark" canine language and obviously can build/research spells with barks as incantation words) i mean: rule-wise that's not problem; also, assuming humanoid form is least expensive multiform is even better to buy spells/powers in humanoid form but story-wise, is'nt more logical that she could learn spells in true wolfhound form? and/or use a magical shapeshift to appear human while casting magic? (useful for charme or to help mind control) and, if a canine born werewolf can learn spell as "alternate form", why PC cannot learn special powers (or even spells) in their alternate form too?
  18. Hi all in my Turakian Age campaign i run king Dalstar Senimar of Mircasea got a wonderful wolfhound pet; she's named Klaasa and is a very beautiful dog, intelligent (for a dog) and compassionate and good friend of king and his son. What (almost) noone knows, is she's a werewolf, a lyucanthrope who could change form in an hybrid as well as a beautiful black haired woman. In human form she's renowed like a courtesan, and also lead a "sect" called "the blue wolves": courtesan, rich merchant, banker and guild owners, all operating around the Lake Beralka and sharing lycanthrope curse (they embrace like a gods' gift). They are not a real "guild" 'cause they got really little interest in politics and just use their personal connection to cover themselves and gain "hunting ground right" around the area. They also are not really interested in Kal Turak's invasion of Khirkovy, Thurgandia's invasion/liberation of Aarn and all other big political changes i did to the campaign Klaasa is also a renowed sorceress and mostly using illusion and oneiromantic spells to do her tricks, gain power and favours, and hide themselves Klaasa's true form is clearly the wolfhound one; like "humanoid" werewolves she got a multiform to hybrid form and giant wolf form. Similarly to humanoid werewolves who get regular wolf form, she got also humanoid form. And that's the problem: magic In humanoid form she's a magic user, a sorceress/wizardry/whatelse. But buying spells (as well as special abilities, skills and all improvements you whant) for alternate form is a tricky things and most viewed carefully. To buy 30 points in spells/magic skill (equal to +6 points in multiform) requires spending 30 points in true form first; and then i need to include also contacts, fringe benefit, and all special skills she could have got during her courtesan/sect leader life. thus klaasa would be a very very very powerful wolfhound. and that's ok, 'cause she's a NPC and i could gave her even 1500 points with no worries. BUT i got 2 shapechanger in my campaign, one is a werewolf (cursed with lycanthropy during a fight) and one is a possessed... by some sort of demonic sister form... something very strange but he happen to write a background i liked so i permits it (plus he really does'nt know what is this form and i got a loooooooooooooooooooooooot of plot hooks about it u.u some also very unpleasent for them all u.u ) btw, i got 2 multiform PC and i should need some serious ruling about "what", "how" and "in how much time" they could buy skills and special powers for their alternate form i'm thinking about not giving klaasa a real humanoid multiform; instead give her a shapeshifting abilities to assume humanoid form (sight, touch, hear, smells sense groups) and also speaking capabilities so she can buy spells with true form and still be able to use them only while shape shifted in humanoid form (she got no real arms and hands while wolf and also sometime is way more difficult to charm someone while being a talking intelligent wolfhound what do you think? it's better to stick to multiform and then just "ignore" ruling for abilites in alternate form and give humanoid alternate form a lot of useful skills and spells and like, or find a way to compensate, like giving shapeshift to the wolfhound so she can cast spell and interact with humans while basically keeping their true form? the two are not mutually exclusive, btw, so she could really have a humanoid (not much powerful) form and then having a lot of spells and powers in wolf form that let her learn about spells, gaining contacts, leading her sect...
  19. Re: Teleport an Object to me The latter one, "Only to Grab, etc..." is to point out that she can't move items from A to B; she can move from A to her hands, and to her hands to B, not directly A to B it need to be a 1 phase delay (first phase grab from A to her hands, second phase from her hands to and this could be very important in some situation, where she can't (for instance) disarm a guy and put the gun in other guy's hands btw, think i'll use the one Christofer suggested: it's more clear It's the standard for "power lose half his effects". where half is animate object and half is inanimate as for freeing someone from handcuffs, she got also another TP UAA so she can use this one (is just that one is not ranged ) but the main point is she can't teleport away the bullets from a gun or a door knob another thing i was not consindering is tp is no str: if she manage to hit the -6 OCV she teleport away the object, no matter what...
  20. Re: Teleport an Object to me ty all for quick replies Oh yeah. i need to set it. because is a teleport, i think "Does not Affect Characthers with Teleportation or Dimensional Powers" could be the best thing (i used this as the "common and obvious set of defense that cancels out the attack" of another teleport uaa she got) ok so if she need to exercise strenght (maybe to force a weapon away from an enemy's hand) she can't, and mass of the teleported object is limited by teleport, not by her's... right? Edit another related question: should i add a limitation for limit to not teleport away entangle or part of a more complex object? i mean, with this power you can teleport away a bomb, or put an activated bomb in a place out of reach by normal means, but you cannot teleport away only a part to defuse them; similarly, you cannot tp away handcuffs to free someone, or remove the lock from a door. So i was thinking about putting there another limitation, maybe a -1/2 or -1/4 limitation. Should i? or i could just say that "you cannot tp part of an object" (this too could be the "common and obvious set of defense that cancels out the attack" of the uaa)
  21. Hi all in my low-powered superheroes campaign, there is a PC who's able to teleport; she also got a power to let her teleport a single objects less than 8m distant in her's hands. I did this with Stretching: Deassemble, Reasemble: Stretching 4", Does Not Cross Intervening Space (+1/4) (25 Active Points); Only to Grab Objects or Disarm (-1), no Noncombat Stretching (-1/4) 11 real points reading here on the forum, someone adviced me to build them with Teleport, UAA. So i did a test using HD: Deassemble and Reassemble: Teleportation 4", Limited Range (+1/4), Usable As Attack (+1) (18 Active Points); Inanimate Objects Only (-1), Only to Grab, Retrieve or Deploy Objects (-1/2), no Noncombat movement (-1/4), Gestures (-1/4) 6 real points (gestures is 'cause she need to put the object in her's hands OR to keep them in the hands before deploying it; limited range is 'cause she could not just teleport an object to anywhere in 8m, but also do the viceversa, tp any objects to her) obviously, i'll let her (the player) choose if she whant to change the power in the new form (saving 5 points she could invest in something else) or keep the original one; i think she'll decide to change it, however btw, this teleport uaa looks like too cheap compared to the stretching one. so... did i made something wrong? where is tp uaa better than stretching and where the viceversa? ty all for help ps: i did it with 5er; don't think 6e is too different from it, save maybe for some points calculation...
  22. Re: Affect Physical World (and advantage) for HA+STR ok, so even when solid (not using desolidification, i mean) he need to pay for full advantage, thus 15 STR = +1 DC? on the other hand, i could buy affect physical world as a naked advantage... nope is 5er. btw i got also 6e books so i sometime goes to referencing them if more clear
