Re: Suggestions need: Animal super villains
Lessee here now ... I had a BUNCH Of these once ...Bloodbath: A shark that can exist on land ... brick with HKA (bite), Enraged at sight of blood, that sort of thing. If feasible, you should probably give him legs, or else he'll just look silly.
Pandemic: A panda version of Plague (from the CU).
Uproar: A lion with a super-roar that can shatter concrete.
Hip Hop: Superleaping Kangaroo, extra STR only with legs. Add Savate for more fun.
Armory: An octopus with weapons attached to the end of every tentacle, riding a little tank-like thing so he could get around out of water.
Wingspan: An eagle with steel-like serrated wings; a move-by artist.
Chamaniac (or Chameliac): A chameleon with power mimicry; his body coloration would mimic the costume of whoever he was copying, but he could only copy one person at a time. Of course, also got their power-based weaknesses (see: Kryptonite).
blood bath should have a flight ring. Flying sharks are freaky

Re: Native American Supers: Post Your's Here
But she isn't.Looking back on it I should have mentioned that one of my players plays a street walker called Coyote... hence why I thought it was funny and hence why no body else would.

Re: Order of the Stick
So, it's probably taken Roy a couple of weeks to trapse down the mountain, unless he just leapt knowning that he couldn't get hurt... Still, man, I wonder what antics we have missed down below?

What Dreams May Come, based on the Richard Matheson novel.Wonder if anyone ever got a Celestial Dolphin by accident when summoning a Celestial Tuna?

Re: Order of the Stick
damn that's cool, and here I thought it was actually starting to be a bizarre cross between dragon ball Z and that awful film about Robin William's suicidal wife.

Re: Order of the Stick
I'd say 16 Int' date=' with both Wisdom and Charisma in the 14-16 range.[/quote']That sounds right its fairly obvious that Roy had all the makings of becoming a mage and purposely chose not to use them.

Re: PCs go down the hole...
The cave also has some of those 'mists' that cause prophesy and other glue sniffing tricks.

Re: Hi, Gene! Magic, Sanitation and Cleanliness
supposedly the entire 'British Smile' thing came from the fact that 1. British people are often characterised as horsey in American publications, and 2. while dental care for children is free; the more cosmetic stuff wasn't and a lot of it still isn't.

Re: What Fantasy/Sci-Fi book have you just finished? Please rate it...
Just finished Renegades Magic, the last Soldiers Son Trilogy book, and to be honest with you I really enjoyed it. Her reinvisionings of dryads/wood elves, and mages who are used by magic were really interesting as usual, but more interesting was the way she discussed identity politics through Nevare's character. It was as interesting as it was frustrating.

Re: "Kiln People" by David Brin
The synthetic clay idea could work if you're prepared to take clay to the extreme of what clay can be, so, it can still retain the veneer of plausibility. And even if it can't, just use it as a placeholder for technology N that is just around the corner that would do a similar thing.
Still, a very sweet book.

Re: [Character] Unnamed Warrrior Goddess...
Sounds like Sol to me, you know, the Norse sun goddess. I think she got eaten by Fenris Ulf.

Re: A slightly different spin on Catwoman
Nah, it's a dumb idea that has already been done countless times before, including in a BTAS episode IIRC.

Re: A Plot Idea ... With No Good Resolution
it ends when the dream gets stuck in the Dalai Lama or somesuch by the PC's. Ofcourse, that means that a second dream war is around the corner when ever you don't have a good idea for a game...

Re: Musings on the Bat Team

Re: The Hawkmistresses
Quite true.In case you're wondering, synagogues can be made in many architecuural styles, some of which have towers.
Since most synagogue floor plans on the net are of Orthodox synagogues, I modified the floor plan of a church to get the plan of the synagogue Judy works at.
Something tells me that Von D-Man would not wonder this, considering how versed he is with Judaism.

You could make her the blue lady from that Urban legend those Miami homeless children have.
