Thin Pink Mist (rarely TPM): When a normal gets a HUGE attack that smashes him to about cellular level. Just some blood hanging in the air.
 
Greasy Smoke: a TPM from a fire, electricity or other "burning" attack. Nothing left but smoke.
 
Rabbit: A bounced attack esp. if multi-bounced. I tried to get this going but it died. No-one got the "Ping, ping ping! Ricochet Rabbit!" ref.

For an IT guy who works from home maybe he wrote and maintains a specialized internal software package for a large dispersed company. He might be on call for support for the software, but otherwise left alone to work on bugs and upgrades.
 
Maybe he'd have to take the odd call while on an adventure. He could use a cell phone and a headset. I could just see it now:
 
Hero: "Inter-Data tech support, Mike speaking. How can I help you?"
Villain: "What? Blast your cursed swing-line, I'll soon be free of it!"
Hero: "Have you tried closing the application and restarting it?"
Villain: "Ugh! You dare lay hands on Invictor?! I will teach you the meaning of pain!"
Hero: "ARRGH!" "Did you see any error messages pop up before it crashed?"
Villain: "NOO! You've crushed my Omni-Staff! DIE WORM! Hey, who are you talking to?"
Hero: "It sounds like you'll have to do a reboot." "Unghf!" "Let's try that and see if it loads the database again."
Villain: "Are you on the phone?! You DARE take a call while fighting INVICTOR?!"
Hero: "Whuf!" "Okay, it looks like the database connection is back, go to your file menu and see if it saved your last changes."
Villain: "PAY ATTENTION TO ME!"

A woman caught in mystical cross fire during Takofanes first travails across the States is now able to change herself into the patritic devil Liberty Helle. Tragically because Takofanes is that evil that is why the poor woman, whose identity must be forever kept secret, transforms into a devil form rather than an angel. She now fights for the cause of America !
 
That is the basic story fed to the US and world media. And it is an absolute and utter lie. Liberty Helle isn't a woman who changes into devil form, she's a devil able to take human form. For reasons unknown she chooses to fight on the side of the angels (she herself as said that she is here to fight for 'truth, justice and the American way'). The White House has distanced itself from her but Liberty Helle is a welcome sight in New England where she battles evil with a will and generally sunny demeanour that belies her appearance.

Lillith (Terror’s character) and Mad Angus have eloped to Niagara Falls (contrary to Dr. Benedict’s warnings about marrying an Unseelie fae). Meanwhile, Dr Benedict (Jim) is sucker-zapped with an NND and awakens to find his amulet missing and a note from his girlfriend saying she was sorry.
 
 
Terror: “HA! You were all ‘Whaa whaa! Don’t marry Angus, you’ll regret it!’ Now who’s getting honeymoon sex and who got his amulet stolen, Bee-YOTCH!?â€

Our ongoing GURPS: Firefly campaign got a new character a couple of weeks ago - a merc/negotiator named "Star." The following exchange happened at the first business deal Star set up.
 
contact: Which one of you is Star?
 
the captain: The one playing continuous soft-rock throughout the work day.
 
(this may be a "Boston only" joke, but I'm guessing there are other "Star FM" stations throughout america)

I was joining one of my GMs other regular games for a few sessions, I don't normally play with the second group, but their game takes place in a shared world so my character can join them.. I'm a shapeshifter with Accidental Change, most of them are powersuit types.
 
We're attacking a wharehouse with magic weilding thugs, after subduing the outside guards we're deciding what to do next when a sniper opens a window and shoots me, doing body triggers the Accidental Change and I burst into an Unkindness of Ravens (3 dozen birds or so).
 
GM: You get shot and take 2 Body.
Me: *rolls Acc.Chng.* I explode into a bunch of ravens.
The Healer: I CAN'T HEAL THAT!!!
 
They didn't know, up to that point, that I could shape shift at all... it was one of those surprise moments you can never repeat.

From a quick Arcana Unearthed pick-up game ... I've assembled the closest thing I can to a classic rogue, and he's of a feline race called a Litorian ('Cat Burglar', get it? ), and we wind up prowling though a cavern looking for some lost kids. Since I'm the only one in the party with any appreciable stealth skills, I'm prowling ahead, pulling steady high-20s Sneak checks until the final leg of the exploration ... when I pull an 8.
 
I get accosted at bowpoint and, when asked what I'm doing here, I start babbling on about why we're there, mentioning that we're looking for lost kids. He says that if he sees them, he'll let me know. My Sense Motive check bombs, but my Listen picks out a couple of muffled voices behind him. I retreat back to the rest of the party.

"... and he said he'd let me know if he saw the kids."
PC2, a Dracha (dragon-ish): "Was he lying?"
"He didn't say."

Lillith's houseguest left behind the purchases she made off Home Shopping Network, filling all her spare rooms and closets. Lillith got upset with Benedict questioning Angus' motives.
 
Lillith: "Get out of my house! And take an Amazing Ab Griller with you!"
