  10. Re: Another Character needing feedback Just as a note, I'm playing the campain this character is in. The character is a mentalist without the helmet, the helmet is merely a booster, this is why he has such a high EGO. I have told him since he's posted his character about boosting his characteristics, and suggested lowering CON. The Helmet is supposed to work like the idea of if it's missing his powers still work, just only at half efficiency. We just haven't quite figured out how to make that work the way we want it. Thank you for your input, more is always welcome.

  15. How would you work something like and energy beam or ego attack that was linked to a focus that if you had the focus it would be at full power but without it would be less. Like an energy beam at 10D6 with the focus, but if you didn't have the focus it would only be 5D6. It kinda makes me think of Solitare from 4th Ed with her Widget where her focus gave reduced end. Note that I do intend on separating the characteristics between the normal and OIHID, just the export template for HD I'm using doesn't do that by default. Also, the skills in OIHID are like that because yes, he does get better with them specifically for the reason he's IHID because he has another scientist in his head. Thanks for all the input.   18. Re: First serious character Well he started out as being my Firestorm writeup, but I modified him to my own character when the chance came up in the group. Distinctive Features .... how is being a bright glowing firey guy not a distinctive feature? The voices he hears when he's not OIHID, but he can only understand them IHID. On top of the fact that the GM said those worked. Any other suggestions? Andrew
  19. Re: Firestorm the Nuclear Man He can't anymore, as of issue 22. So, how much of a limitation would you give a VPP that can only be used for the transform power.
  20. Re: First serious character The reason for the +2 on Science skills is OHID is because of the characters background that I haven't completely written up yet. But (if you've seen my earlier post) think Firestorm from DC Comics. When he's in HID he's got another guy in his head in a sense that is a bigger scientist than him, hence the bonus, it's kinda like the two heads are better than one, and since we're working together we do it better thing. I completely missed the fact about the FW and EB. Also, armour may be the way to go, I'll look through him more later. Thanks, Andrew

  22. I've been trying to work on a writeup of Firestorm over the past roughly two weeks. I started trying to come up with ideas shortly after reading Firestorm #22 (current series). I just loved that issue. "Building a better Firestorm" It was a lot of fun, but I'm horrible at creating characters. I'm trying to come up with a few different versions: a 350 point version to play as and just some advanced versions. Anyone got any ideas or writeups they'd car to share? Thanks, Andrew
