OK, seriously why are your links so...unstable?
I don't know. Most of them are images pasted into (and hosted on) Discord. Those links usually go belly-up even for me (on this site) after a couple of days, even though the images are still live in the Discord pages where I found them ... though if I was simultaneously logged in here and in Discord, then they show up here. This behavior only started (for me) in the last month or so, so I suspect something about link cacheing was rammed down my machine's throat (and I don't know if it's updates to Windows, Discord, Firefox browser, or even Dell firmware).

Wow. a resolving power of 45000 with complete coverage of the H (0.35 microns wide, centered about 1.65 microns) and K (slightly broader, centered at 2.2 microns) windows. Hmmm.

Battles and Leaders of the Civil War: Volume 1 The Opening Battles
This is recollections of Union and Confederate officers edited by Robert Underwood Johnson and Clarence Clough Buell for The Century Magazine'.
...
Is the author Buell related to the Union general Don Carlos Buell?
EDIT: I ask because I recently read (but did not review here) an account on Grant's operations in the Western theatre of the Civil War, from the war's outset through Vicksburg, focusing on the Vicksburg campaign itself.

I also seem to be associated somehow with a singularity in the local weirdness field, and I'm too inexperienced to recognize it.

Nothing happens one thing at a time, but the two-point correlation function of time intervals between events has a narrow peak around ~6 hours, and then a rather broader one between one and two weeks.

Nope, I guarantee Vegas would have taken Nix if Denver hadn't. Because...
...they obviously had no plan for both Nix and Penix being unavailable, so they panicked and drafted a third TE. With the 13th overall pick. My Raiders do not disappoint!
What they should have done was flip the script and picked up one of the elite defensive players that were still on the board as a result of the QB run. If you have to go into 2024 with AOC under center, build around Maxx Crosby and make a truly fearsome defense. If we can't score, no one will! Oh well, missed opportunities.
I actually kind of understand this after a season of Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke. Problem is with both Cousins and Penix on the roster they won't be able to afford any other players.
Turns out that there is a wishful-thinking sort of scenario where Atlanta saves money, assuming they deal Cousins promptly. I find it more than a little implausible, but it's there.

Seattle drafts a DT at #16. Weird that the first defensive player picked was at #15.

I am not fully certain, and the lawyer I used to depend upon for questions like that is no longer available. OTOH, I already know my country is crazy.
I have assumed for now that in my city at least I cannot own one personally, but private firms offering security services probably can own them after jumping through a few hoops.
