  1. Re: Learning Curve? I don't think the learning curve is that steep for playing the game. However Creating the characters (I.E. from conception to hard numbers on paper) is where I think a lot of people perceive the difficulty to be.
  2. Re: This week on "Champions"... 50 TOON LA D.O.J. After an inconclusive battle in the subbasement of the Iron Witch's skyscraper fortress our heroes get called out by Quantum Flux. Is Metal Lash's apparent change of heart real? Will the rest of the villians change sides once the Iron Witch's control collars are removed? Will the Trans-Dimensional Quantum Tunneler take them back to their own reality? Tune in for answers to these and many other questions.
  3. Re: Most Embarassing Champions Moment Ok, this one's me running the game I hate to say. Flying semi-brick/energy projector with some disads against hurting females. He's flying about 100' up and encounters a demon chick. Red skin, horns, wings, big sword, the whole 9 yards. What does our hero do...entangles her. Bye-bye flight with gestures. I completley forgot he could do that. Sword can't help and I only gave her a 15 str. Splat. That was a night of quick improv. Luckily I try to have a couple of agent groups figured out for things like that.
  4. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Ok, a friend of ours was visiting for a couple of weeks and was bringing in a new char. The rest of the party was already in the middle of the adventure in another plane, really nasty place. We enter this large room to find a psycho looking female fighter type with a glowing blue sword. Most of the party are understandably nervous, except for the female elf mage of the party who waves and starts toward the figure. When asked why she thinks she can trust the psycho with the sword, "but, blue's not an evil color!"
