    1) The Thor who plays with kid gloves and gives all mortals a chance to actually live against him.

    2) The Thor who gets pissed, and I'm not talking 'I say thee nay' pissed. I'm talking when Crusher Creel had almost killed one of the Warriors Three pissed. I'm talkin Thor taking it to Thanos pissed. I'm talking Thor dismantleing Ultron pissed. The kind of angry I remember seeing in him maybe 10 or 11 times in comic history. Against that guy Supes is toast.

Anyway sorry to bring that thread here, but you had my blood pumping with pimpy Thor quotes.

Heh. I think Catacomb is right. However, I doubt Supes would bring that out of him.

Hmm, though it does remind me of all the times Hercules would give Thor "The Gift". :)

Someone less lazy than me can do the search, but I remember some sort of comment made in one of the forums. I didn't comment, but I did like it.

You should note that a lot of people have that as their birthday. Something probably to do with the date field not wanting to deal with negative numbers is my guess. Though, the birthday is still noted correctly when it comes up.

That's why I was checking it out to see if there was anything still there on sale. Still some stuff, but nothing to make a trip for.

Hmm, I think anything about New Millenium can be considered not to be a going concern. I think you can find elements of New Millenium in the current products which is only natural, since some of the authors worked on both.

  6. Eh, there's some interesting stuff out of the New Millenium stuff. However, it's less compatable than 3rd & 4th edition hero.

At 70%, buy all the DOJ stuff. Well worth it. If you don't think so, you could always ebay it at a slight markup. :D

hmm, I think there's a WC store in town....

  8. Wildcards: The first six or seven are worth reading. I'm trying to remember exactly where I dropped the series, but yeah, ou should be able to find the original printings in used book stores.

Superheroes: Great book. The Cleaning superhero story was my favorite.

Heh. Reminds me of the AADA Road Atlas entry for Santa Cruz: "Everyone has a say, including children and domesticated animals (their votes are read by animal empath)."

"Well, Fall isn't the right word. I put in some more Starbucks while raising the price of coffee beans... mwhwhahaha!"

This concept stolen from some cruel office tricks email:

I see Foxbat secretly substituting decaf in all the coffee shops in Lansing, gradually going from full caff to decaf. Then after a few weeks, shipping in the double-caffiene beans! think of the chaos! MWA HA HA HA HA HA!

    (cough)

  11. Advice on graphic file formats.

Keep an original in a non-lossy format. I tend to keep mine in .png format since it has most of the advatages and none of the disadvantages.

JPG uses lossy compression. I post web images and the like using it since it's universally accepted by browsers, though PNG is commonly enough accepted. However, I do all my work in PNG before hand. Everytime you open and save a JPG file. you'll lose some information.

So much so that the {Character}Rook posting kinda irrates me.

Heh, that's why whenever I see the Champions I go "ack!" See, my first PC was called Nighthawk and that was back in 1982.

When I first saw this thread, I was going "What's the big deal?", but then since it's an e-book, I now see the point. I would assume Steve would be the one to ask.

Well, Set is the designated god of evil. Look up some info on him via the web. Evil priests and would probably work well. Perhaps your hero is imbued with the power of Horus? Horus and Set didn't like each other at all. Hope this late night ramble helps. :P
