  1. Maia Anderson was an only and spoiled child. Her father lavished his attention on his 'little princess' and imbued in her his love of literature, fueling her imagination with tales of mystical lands and people. But then at a young age, she stopped growing. Not only did she stop growing - she began to shrink and eventually reached the size of only a few inches. To protect his beloved Maia, her father kept Maia isolated on their woodland estate. His protection slowly became more and more restrictive as time passed, until the home became her prison. She managed to escape from him and fled into the surrounding woodlands. She spent the next few years fleeing from animals that saw her as food or people who tried to cage her as a curiousity. And from her father who tried relentlessly to again imprison his beloved 'princess'. During this time she learned to hate everything larger than herself. Then, while hiding in a large flower blossom, she changed again. Thin, gossamer wings spread out from her shoulders. She found that not only could she now fly, she could take the images from her imagination and project them into others' minds. She would send beautiful visions to others, and lure them into places of certain danger or death. Her first victim was her father, who stumbled into a busy roadway pursuing a 'princess' that wasn't there. She found others like herself that also hated the 'big folk' and joined them. Together with her new companions, Thumbe-lethal hopes to bring an end to the rule of the giants who have plagued and ruined her life.
  2. I will admit to not making it through this entire thread yet, so to avoid 're-inventing the wheel' so to say, I will happily pass on that. If you would care to - I will happily designate you as my proxy in this.

  4. Roly - Poly thought that it was the worst thing ever to be picked on for being overweight. Then he became a fat mutant and found that it could get worse. But his new rock hard carapace on his back turned him into a dynamo or destruction. Those who had made fun of him for being as wide as he was tall, and so slow he could barely keep up with stationary objects found that when Roly - Poly pulled in his arms and legs, he could roll along faster than a speeding car and could crash through concrete walls unharmed. Roly - Poly joined Tons of Fun to teach the world that bigger really is better.
  5. Didn't see the one I need in the list. Dedicated GM, so I'm growling at the players doing half the things on the preceding list.
  6. Drum-bo was always a big kid. Bigger than everyone else at school. With ears just a bit to big for his head. The amount of kidding he got only drove him to hate the character whose name his tormentors attached to him. When his mutant genes expressed themself, he found himself strong as a pachyderm, and capable of flying with the large projections from the sides of his head, or creating thuderous & deafening noise. He now uses his abilities to bring down the corporation responsible for ruining his childhood.
  7. I have done just that in our game. Granted we are a bit of an antique as I run 4e, but the three kids have a team based in Chicago and I have set it up so that they are the ones tasked with keeping Thunder and Lightning on the 'straight and narrow'. It has been an entertaining sideline that they can't just ignore but can't really 'pound into line.' We also have Panda and Racoon as 'background' in our game. The kids hear about them, but have never actually met them.
