  1. I don't think Araki actually used a Rush song or album title yet ..
  2. Nobody suspects the Fun Police. Nobody. Not even the workers of Club Dread. Or Broken Lizard.
  3. Thanks. I only mentioned him "off panel", as someone who could be in your multiverse or not.
  4. I know that. But the references to Rush songs...
  5. There s still one more villain to create before we shift into the next team.
  6. Ok. Now I'm expecting Stand Users.
  7. Well, technically he hasn't. But @tiger recreated him for the Forgotten Enemies line, where he was given the +10 Striking Appearance talent (Subclass, Ugly). He was also recreated for the update of The Island of Doctor Destroyer, where he didn't have a lick of Striking Appearance at all. So...your milage may vary.
  8. Just a reminder, that the Brood isn't actually a superteam, but a family. A really disfuninal family with goodly superpowers. Think the New Gods meets the the Brady Bunch
  9. True, but he can basically only use it when someone sees his uncovered face and actually see all the ugly pock marks, and all the ozzing oil and puss coming out of his pores. Still, it is up there, like Hideous. And his face shouldn't be as frightful as Hideous. Perhaps 6 or 7 levels of Straighting Appearance instead of ten?
  10. This one is not one of the five I'm looking for. Just enjoy this entery. The Overdose The mysterious man who is now known as the Overdose was a male test subject (more likely a homeless person who he took from tbe street) who actually died of the drug tested upon him. But unlike others who died, the body still moves on, various drugs dripping from his skin which makes contact with this drug zombie dangerous. Hyde keeps him locked up in his own private cell, since he can't exactly control him at all. Only Professor Hyde knows about him, but everyone knows about the door nobody is allowed to open and the room nobody is allowed to enter.
  11. Just added to my Professor Hyde thread what Professor Hyde basically thinks about his test subject brigade. Enjoy.
  12. Professor Hyde's Test Subject Brigade. Hyde keeps close tabs on the various super junkies his drugs have either directly or indirectly created. Blackhead is his most loyal of his agents, and is probably the first to volentear to steal whatever Professor Hyde needs. And to try whatever he created. Hyde is rather weary of Desperationado. He knows he is now immune to drugs and on that one hand, the chance to actually invent a drug which would even give Desperationado a high would be the ultimate challenge. But, he doesn't actually trust anyone he can't physically addict. Rainbow Ray's gender change fasinates Professor Hyde. And hir disgust twords the Professor actually pleases him. Professor Hyde is less interested in Blood Rush then the others. Instead, he is fascinated with Shadowmoon, the martial artist vigilante following Blood Rush. So he allows Rush to be bait to attack Shadowmoon into a trap to either kill or addict him. The Overdose is nothing but a walking deathtrap who is dangerous to even Professor Hyde himself. Basically a zombie dripping with various touch activated drugs which require skin contact to use. The Professor hides him away to keep him from running away.

  15. Villain is basically all done. What do you think? It should be noted that I didn't use much skill modulars in this build. This was delibrate. He is a high school dropout and drug addict. He wouldn't actually want to learn anything if he can help it.
  16. What is this thing about realistic costume damage you speak of, kemosabi?
  17. I do plan on buying this at some time. By the way,I was at one time steriaca.i needed a new phone and forgotten my old passwords. No biggie.
  18. Actually no, but I do imagine them doing Inexces' "I Need You Tonight".

  20. Usually the person who did the last entry in the last team or group is the one who starts the new team, unless he doesn't have any ideas. So I have first crack on the team theam. So...the new team is Hyde's Havocs. Six drug addicts who had a chance to have a chance to try a new drug invented by Professor Hyde. Since one of these people are the brick Blackhead, I only actually need five more people. The drugs interacted with the bodies in unpredictable ways which Hyde would probably be unable to reproduce. Not everyone is actually greatful to Hyde for the powers granted.

Psychological Complication: Greedy, Common, Strong: (15) Psychological Complication: Lack of Empathy, Common, Strong: (15) Social Complication:: Public Identity (Peter Palmer) (10) Background/Origin : "Pimple" Peter Palmer was a highschool dropout, a gang banger for the 37th Street Shadows, and a minor drug addict. He also has a slight acne problem. When the 37th Street Shadows met there newest drug provider, Peter asked Professor Hyde for something to help with his acne problem. Hyde agreed and developed an anti-acne pill. But the pill didn't exactly work as Hyde wanted (he did actually wanted to do a temporary cure to acne, something the user would have to do constantly to maintain the acne cure). He found his strength and durability increase, and the ability to cause his hard zits to project off his body (usually his chest or face). He decided to be available if Professor Hyde ever needs hin. It also allowed him to be a willing gunnie pig for some of his experimental drugs. Personality/Motivation : Blackhead's motivation is mostly to merely get high. He doesn't actually care about anyone or anything except tripping balls. He can be manipulative into working for villains if a big pay day is offered (to buy drugs), or if a large amount of drugs is offered. He doesn't even care about fixing his skin condition, but that doesn't mean he is insensitive about his looks. He is quick to anger and attack if his pimple problems is brought up in an insulting way. Quote: "Ok...he is offering me enough to get me ten dime bags. If you want me to step away, what can you offer me?" Powers/Tactics: Blackhead is very simple with his tactics. He uses his massive strength to harm others, and he uses his physical Blast attack as a surprise attack. The surprise attack, usually coming from his chest area, is usually a hard pimple which ejected from his body, tearing his costume, and slamming into his opponent. He has no real tactics, and in general isn't that smart. He is durable enough to absorb some damage and his body regenerates all Body damage over time. He has no special immunity to drugs. He probably have overdosed a few times, but because of his regeneration he didn't die in those times. In spite the regeneration he can die. He also has some defenses against mental attacks, various drains and adjustment powers, and knockback. The best explanation someone thought up was that he was so always doped up that his almost always stoneed d state seems to protect him somehow. But that is only a theory. A supervillain theory. Advancements : Right now, Blackhead has no "brick tricks" abilities. He might eventually develop one or more trick attacks to make the most of his great strength. Another way is to have him develop more abilities based on his body oils and stuff (for example a triggered STR damage shield which only activates when grabbed, and only to get out of grabs). Appearance: Blackhead wears a costume made from the same material as sweatpants, mostly grey, with a big black hood which hides his deformities. Even with the costume, the top of his body is dripping with body oil and puss. He is also rather tall, gaunt, and lanky, looking much like a toothpick then the brick he is. It should also be noted that his upper body is full of shifting small hard bumps. These bumps are basically his hard pimple missiles before he wills them to launch. Modules Used Bruser (stats) Creature Features (Tough Hide only) Healing Factor (40 point version)
  22. History/Origin: Harry Jerkal always was fascinated by The Strange Case off Doctor Jeckel and Mister Hyde. In fact, he believes that the book was based on facts and that he and his family were distant descendants of the man. He went to medical school and studied to become a pharmacist. In his spare time, he tries to recreate the formula which created Minister Hyde in the first place. He successfully created a formula much like the legendary Hyde formula and used it upon himself. Smiling with dark rapture, he decided that the entire city must also be under his influence. He started to provide drugs to the streets, actually inventing some new stuff over time Quote: "Well, how do you feel? Don't you feel like you can do anything? And don't care about anyone but yourself? There's more where that came from if you just let me be." Powers/Tactics: As Professor Hyde, Henry Jerkal has discovered a chemical formula which changes his body into that of a savage brute with the mind of a scientist. He is not actually a genius but with hard work is able to create new drugs. He invented a drug very similar but not exactly like the infamous drug which turned Doctor Henry Jerkal to turn into Mr. Hyde. When transformed he becomes stronger, faster, with better mobility and able to use his strength in rather savage ways. He is also braver and more threatening when transformed into his brute form. The transformation only lasts about three to five hours (depending on the needs of the GM), and can be ended early by taking the formula while transformed. Since he has a habit of carrying two to four vials of the formula at all times, one could search his body when he is stunned for the formula and force him to take it. It should be noted that only Harry Jerkal can be affected by his formula normally. Professor Hyde also carries various vials of drugs with him. Most of his drugs he can either use on himself or his henchmen. He tends to horde the healing medication for himself. He has two different drugs which he uses on his enemies. One is a halutionations causing arasol must which he only has three doses. Another is a liquid which is fast absorbing and reduces the target's bravery (Drain Presence). Resources : Hyde is actually quick to excape as he doesn't want his other identity to be revealed by being captured. He is usually surrounded by henchmen, mostly just normal humans. He doesn't have henchmen and bases on his sheet, as it is up to the GM to decide. Most of his henchmen are street gang members who profit from the new drugs to sell on the street. He can hire any street level supervillains and can count on the villain Blackhead, which he created the drug which permanently transformed him. Personality/Motivation: Henry Jerkal/Professor Hyde loves money and doesn't care about the lives of others. He enjoys addicting others to his drugs, and doesn't care how young the victim is. He doesn't view it as his fault if they get addicted or die. Improvement Options: As he is written up right now he doesn't have any offensive chemicals to use against his opponents. He might just create some drugs which cause halutionations, temporary blindness, Strength loss, among other effects. He might just also mutant under the formula, developing new powers over time. Appearance: As Harry Jerkal, he looks like your average man with blonde hair, cleanshaven, average height and weight, with blue and clear eyes. As Professor Hyde he changes into a hulking man with black hair and bloodshot eyes. His "costume" is a victorian style lab coat he puts on over whatever he is wearing currently, with various drug viles on the inside of his lab coat. The lab coat is usually white, but is discolored because of various chemical spills.
  23. Campamg Use Someone who is going out stealing strange chemicals... An excuse to introduce an origin for a new villain... A baby crime lord just making his moves upon the city...
  24. S Serious Sam Killjoy S Serious Sam Killjoy is a very serious man. In fact, he hates fun and doesn't actually want anyone having fun at all. Originally he was a simple Killjoy, content with preventing fun in his area. But after encountering KO Clown so many times his motivation is changed to kill KO Clown. This makes it 5 characters I believe.
  25. Thanks to talking with Bolo, I have found how to spend those 9 points and gave him some attacks which makes sense.
