  1. Any mention of the Penny Dreadfuls as a thing? Where pore innocent maidens with sausage curls hairstyles wait for the train involateringly?
  2. Me? I guess I'm in love/hate with European Enemies. Mostly because how bad the book is. Full of stereotypes and bad write-ups. Yet there are many villains actually have protental. Eclipse (Eurotrash), and Mammoth (renamed Masterdon [from mastodon] and made into a comedy parody of a mastermind villain) are two examples of what could be done with a little work and some reworking.
  3. I wish I had the cash to buy it right now, but im actually out of work on medical because of my back. The only "income" right now is my food stamps.
  4. Well, someone did the resources needed to bring many of Aaron's martial arts articles to life, including Stoogejitsu. If it was up to me, I would replace my Stoogefu for Stoogejitsu myself.
  5. Ok. The powers involved. Detect Mutation: Your bread and butter for a mutant game. The villains will definitely have this. The heros will probably have this also (it is a part of what is Cerebro after all). Both sides will find it useful. Both sides are suspectable to false positives and wrong readings. Invisible to Detect Mutant: It is a cheap way of not being detectable, especially when you can either turn the power on and off at will. If it is "always on", then just don't buy Distinctive Features: Mutant. Darkness VS Detect Mutant: It may actually cause more problems then it is worth. One, it is like Invisible to Detect Mutant on an area. Second, people will get wise if they spot beings they know are mutants but are not showing up on the detector. Images vs Detect Mutant: Gives false positive readings. Confuse all the mutant hunting robots.
  6. That's what makes it interesting.
  7. I think Darkness VS Detect Mutant would be more interesting.
  8. Werewolf By Knight I'm probably just repeating something someone posted already, but I'm currently at my sister's place and she has Disney+, so ...
  9. Sorry about that. I probably answered my own question.
  10. Actually it's the same character under different interpretations I believe. TPP: Villain Compendium 2 is the second volume of Tiger Paw Press' villain supplement series created by Tiger (from our board), page 5 includes the phrase "Denier & Co. are from the adventure School Holiday and are creations of Aaron Allison, used with permission." The write-up starts on page 158 and ends on 175, and in between details Denier, Scanner, Silver, Briareus, and Blaze. This is not unique because in the same book C.L.O.W.N. is updated, the Geodesics and Black Claw, and Popgun (as a part of IMP). Of course your version is definitely the "final version" of Denier, and Tiger's version shouldn't influence yours at all, especially since it is not yours exactly but Aaron's. You just have the notes and converted him to 6ed.
  11. So, this is the same Denier from @tiger's TPP Villain Compendium 2 then? Well, same plus a bunch of experience.
  12. Is it more than the classic five elements in the asian mythology? Or have we double down on elements?
  13. I just made my own tribute post when I spotted this one. So forgive me. Break out your Fusion Labs copy of the Dragonball Z RPG today, if you actually have a copy. He will be missed.
  14. According to the news , Akira Toriyama has passed on from a brain aneurysm at the age of 67 on March 1st, and they just reported it to the public today (Friday, March 8th). Creater of Dr. Slump and Dragon Ball, character and monster designer for Dragon Quest and Crono Trigger, among other works. He still had many unfinished works in the pipeline (Dragon Ball Super and the upcoming Dragon Ball Dai series). May I suggest trying to find your copy of the Dragon Ball Z RPG from Fusion Labs in tribute to him? Fusion is partly Hero System after all. Thank you.
  15. Another power which comes to mind is +STR, only to excape grabs, trigger (when grabbed or restrained). But being a brick, and a starter villain that should be something he should take time to develop. Beyond that....+Running (body oil slide)?
  16. The stretcher character on the Doom Patrol? That would be Elasta Girl. But she is primarily a size shifter then a stretch character, other she also does being mailable and stretchiness. Madam Rouge from the Brotherhood of Evil is also a stretchy character.
  17. The original idea which Stan Lee was going for Reed Richard's super identity is that when he stretches, it was supposed to be painful for him to do so. But that was soon dropped. (Sue was supposed to be fully invisible 24/7 and had to wear clothing to be visible, Jonny could only flame on for about 20 minutes...the only character to keep his power drawbacks was Ben being transformed all the time).
  18. Well, stretching and elongated super beings are actually few and far between. Basically you can count the famous ones on one hand. Plastic Man, Elongated Man, Mister Fantastic, Flatman, Rope Man (Mighty Heroes), Machine Man (elongated arms and legs, but that is it), Extensor (from Masters of the Universe), Maneckaneck (MotU again). Ok...more than one hand, but not really more than two.
  19. His name wasn't actually said in the animated movie, but those who read the manga and watched the anime television series would definitely know who he is, as each of the heads of Shin's forces were named after card sites. And Heart was the most memberable because his fat was protection against Kenshiro's pressure point killing attacks (if Ken couldn't press the points because of a thick layer of fat, then he couldn't be killed in such a way...he hoped until Ken actually made it happen via his rapidly kicking his chest, causing fat to move out of the way of the points and pushing them after that ..) But that is a bit off topic.
  20. Sounds like Heart. That is the guys name in the manga. He goes berserk when he sees blood, not just his own, but others also.
  21. Gee, Gottie sounds really thugly. Then again, giant Nazi sounds really thugly.
  22. Both I believe. He is a fiction writer after all.
  23. One thing I can say about this project, there is a point level for any campaign.
  24. While not official, the Fox of Crime is one of the leaders in @tiger's version of CLOWN . This is of course a still younger version of the character, and incompatible with the official version. But...it can work if you view the CLOWN version as a relative of the original Fox, maybe a grandson who is working with the original's training and blessing. Think Champions version of Lupin the 3rd.
  25. Do you find it odd that most "villains in name only" are female characters who can be reformed? There is one teenage boy villain in Villains Volume 3 who is a doesn't want to be a villain, and a pseudo accidental villain in the homeless mutant called Death (IHA book), and those are the few new unwilling villains I know of who are guys. Of course, depending on how s/he is played, Tenderheart from Dark Champions can also be a reformable villain, if one can downplay hir almost stalker personality somewhat.
