Re: Malthesitic Fantasy Universes IIRC Donaldson's Land in the Thomas Covenant books was built as a prison for Lord Foul by the Creator, & cannot be destroyed there - only contained, leading to the corruptions shown in the 2nd Chronicles.

Re: A senario: ideas and help me flesh it out. To steal an idea from the 1st Ed of WFRP, the PCs could be recruited by someone who actually worships the dark entity that inhabits the tomb & needs assistance to get past the guardian tribe - plus the PCs will make a convenient sacrifice.

Re: Postapocalytpic Antarctica (Problems/Questions)? Don't have a link or anything but I remember one of the episodes of Walking with Dinosaurs (BBC) described a possible forested Antartica, complete with "hibernating" dinosaurs (in the dark months). If this was true (I don't believe everything TV tells me (cos a TV show told me not to) it could expand the vegetation types available.

The title pretty much sums it up - I'm wondering if anyone has done a conversion of the Thread magic, etc from the Earthdawn system to Hero. Tried a quick search but its getting late here & eyelids are getting extremely heavy! Any help would be appreciated. Oh, forgot to mention, the idea is to possibly mix the settings of Barsaive & Hero's The Atlantean Age. Think the magitech etc would be fun.
