  1. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Sorry Cygnia, but I cannot find any inspiration for members of this team. I am waiting for the next challenge. Hopefully we'll get the Iron Eagles fleshed out soon enough.
  2. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Glacier: the leader of the Arctic Circle; she can fire beams of cold & ice; she lowers the temperature around autimatically to chilling degrees and can strengthen that effect at will; she surrounds herself with an armor made of ice (two inches thick); and she has lots of other power stunts & effects Glacier is from Greenland. A red headed woman of Danish ancestry. She is 6 feet tall and very athletic with a heavy, muscular build.
  3. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! La Cucaracha: a mutant from Mexico; he looks like your average Latino guy, but he is very flexible and can stretch and squeeze. Unfortunately that requires a lot of strength and it hurts awfully, though the pain goes away when he is back in normal size and proportions. To perform certain actions is so painful that he has to take drugs before that, squeezing under a door e.g. Another good side effect of his mutant powers is that he takes almost no damage from blunt attacks (fists, hammers, even busses). Next up: The Arctic Circle, five villains with cold based powers

  6. Re: Create a Hero Theme Team! Next: The Bermuda Triangle : three superheroic private investigators
  7. Re: Create a Hero Theme Team! Tangaroa: for ages this powerful entity was the sea god of the Polynesians. He was happy to serve that role and gladly took the responsibilities, helping where needed and punishing where necessary. But then he was forgotten by his people. He took his canoe and journeyed on the oceans for countless decades. He hid from all ships he encountered and seldom set foot on any lands again. But now the time has come to act again. The oceans being under attack from civilization, something has to be done about it. The Defenders of the Sea were his natural choice. They would provide him with the means to bring back the harmony of nature. Tangaroa is an alien being full of cosmic energy that he can use for various effects. He is immortal and does not need to eat and drink or sleep. He looks like an athletic muscular Polynesian (6'2''; 230 lbs.).
  8. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Whalesinger: is a woman of Inuit descent with mighty sonic powers. She creates low rhythmic sounds whose vibrations cause massive damage. She was a representative of Nunavut in the Canadian Capital, but has lost interest in normal politics and now wants to overthrow the government. Whalesinger is 39 years old and rather small. She always dresses in white coats and white pants and wears a fur hat. Next: The Sisters of Blood: six women who have sold their souls to demons in exchange for powers
  9. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! here is The Tribesman:
  10. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! The Tribesman: once a normal Massai warrior, this guy developed the mutant ability to create identical versions of himself. Unlike other mutants, who can only duplicate for a limited time, this process is permanent. Over the years he has done it so many times, he now is a tribe all of his own. He exists in 318 known identities. It is unknown how many more of them exist or how many have already died. All these tribesmen share the same mind and are linked via some form of psychic link. They possess superhuman strength (lift 3 tons) and speed (run at up to 60 mph). The original tribesman was born in Tansania in 1923 and since the day he produced his first "clone" has not aged a single day.
  11. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine It is his actual head. He is a supervillain and a descendant of Egyptian sun-god Ra. http://www.comicvine.com/powerhouse/29-67738/

  13. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Sergeant Deathbringer: Andrew Pendleton was a field sergeant of an infantry platoon in the 2nd Desert War of the American Empire against the Baghdad League, where both sides were fighting for the magic wells in the middle of the desert. Pendleton was a known sword-master and almost legendary among the soldiers. He was wounded in an airstrike of imperial battle mages in Tikrit. Field healers saved his live and he was soon transported to Sicily where mago-surgeons and source-smiths began to forge new parts for him. All his limbs and part of his skin were replaced as well as some organs. He now looks like a walking fusion of man and armor parts. A year later he returned to the front. In the mountains of the Hindukush he and his men were hunting terrorist mages. One day they confronted a whole bunch of them. The terrorists wiped out his men but were unable to do the same to him, so they opened a portal and sent him to another world. Everything was different in this new world. It was lacking the overwhelming magic power of his home dimension. Here the people were relying on technology. A power that was just as good as magic if not better. Pendleton realized that his own magical existence was beginning to wane and so he sought out the help of other individuals who would be able to help him replace his magical parts with technological ones. Ans so he became a member of The Synthetics. Deathbringer is almost seven feet tall and carries a longsword and various daggers with him. His legs and arms were replaced by crude metallic body parts protected by medieval armor. His head is shaved and he wears short beard.
  14. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Nosferata: the vampiric axe-swinging villainess with wings. Where she's from? Nobody knows. She was fist sighted in Tunisia and Algeria but finally captured in Damaskus, Syria. She has killed more than thirty persons and inofficail reports say that this number is but a fraction of the truth. She was sentenced by an international court to lifelong imprisonment in a special facility for paranormal villains. In her case: deep sea pacific prison.
  15. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine She has no nose.
  16. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! The Model: android drone QRT413 was built in star sector 51/0815 almost a thousand years ago to be sent to Earth and spy on its inhabitants. Before the android could be delivered the civilization of its producers was attacked from the outside by an evil galactic empire (pick one) and completely destroyed. The star craft of the android launched automatically but it was damaged and so it took a little longer to reach Earth. Instedad of 63 months the journey lasted 832 years. Not much of a difference for an android who can turn itself off if needed. When the android arrived on Earth it was very confused. Almost none of the data it possessed matched with what it encountered. To make things worse headquarters did not answer interstellar communication attempts. After long years it found a group of beings who were willing to accept it as one of their own and helped to get along. Android QRT413 was given the name "The Model" (or Mody for some ), because it looks like a perfect female specimen. The Model looks like a very slim yet athletic young woman in her early twenties, with a tanned skin and long black hair. Her eyes are steel grey and give her a very arrogant presence. She has superhuman physical attributes. Runs faster, jumps higher, lifts more and bends more easily than any other human being. The Model wears a skin-tight suit of dark blue spandex and black boots. She is six feet tall and weighs about 400 lbs. She is a member of The Synthetics but her ultimate goal i to restore contact to her home planet. She is unaware of the fact that it doesn't exist anymore, or that it ever was attacked, or that a thousand years have passed.

  18. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! You forgot The Cannoneer. BTW I love this thread. And though I'll be away for the weekend, I'll be back with more characters.
  19. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Kate Katana: from Botswana; sword-wielding diamond robber; in an assault on a diamond mine she killed and maimed dozens of mine workers; was caught on the Maldives six months later by International Super Agents and sentenced to life-long prison
  20. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! I'm fine with that explanation. It's just that I had a wole different approach in my head. Sorry for that. The characters you both suggested are really cool, especially Flux, who is even a bit frightening.
  21. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! @Mathew: How do the Gold Bandits fit into the Time Masters theme? and as we are into villains out of time, I wonder where Imperturbable and Flux fit into that. A definite time would be great (could be as specific as say... 100 million years in the future?).
  22. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Tiger Eye: a gifted elder man from India who can stun or even kill his enemies by looking them into the eye. He was an officer in Ashoka's army in the Kalinga war in 256 B.C. and got a massive reputation for being utterly ruthless. After Ashoka turned into a peaceful man, this dangerous individual was chained and thrown into a deep prison pit, left to rot in his own dirt, where he was found by the time-travelling mastermind. Cannoneer: a sailor from the early 18th century serving in the English fleet. After his ship left a small island in the Southern pacific, he slowly began to realize that something had changed. The brew that the natives had given him had triggered a mutation. He can spit in his neck bone like projectile with high speed and accuracy (it even takes the form of a bullet). By doing so his head lowers about 2 inches and slowly rises back to the original position until a new bone has grown, which takes about 10 seconds. His powers still increase, as originally it took about a day to "reload". He hopes to develop rapid fire soon.
  23. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! The Shorn One: (or Cuachicqueh) an Aztec warrior with a bald shaved head except for a long braid over the left ear, his face is painted blue on the one side and red on the other; he has sworn never to take back a step in combat. This particular warrior was infused with magic during a blood ritual and got strong and fast. His skin hardened and his senses were sharpened. He carries an indestructable obsidian sword and only wears a loincloth. His body is athletic and very muscular and he tends to rub himself with oil each day. He was brought to our timeline after he defeated a small army of enemies all by himself.
  24. Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! The Oracle: a woman from ancient Greece blessed with stunning beauty and the power of precognition; she was brought to our timeline by the mastermind who assembled the 10 Time Masters. She is now his lover and the only one of the group who really knows his identity. Deep inside her however she loathes our era and would like to return to her own. Nightmares with horrible pedictions of the future are plaguing her since she arrived here and have gotten worse over the last months.
