Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER so why is special & general backwards. Did Einstein have a brain freeze that week? "Special" is the special case having to do with frames of reference that aren't accelerating. "General" deals with the more general situation of frames that may be accelerating. As is often the situation, special cases are easier to deal with than the general case.

More like a day and a half, but he's back to normal. Dove (the new girl, probably almost exactly a year old now) gave us a scare yesterday by vanishing for 18 hours. Came back a little after midnight.

Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER another one...do nothing. I didn't say those first three were an exhaustive list. "Do nothing" can also be an alternative.
Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Maybe she was feeling adventurous? Probably impossible to know at this point. My wife speculated that she got herself stuck up a tree and it took a while to work up the courage to come down. Might've been something else, of course. At least we know she wasn't hit by a car.
