It can aid life sure, but save it? Perhaps.

Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER And we got a new quartet of kittens yesterday. Momcat isn't with us; she's getting a pin in her broken leg. The kittens are tabbies, two are polydactyl. They need a lot of socialization; one hisses whenever you make a move toward him. Another is very skinny and we are concerned about that one making it.

Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER There may be a more correct term for it, but now that you mention it, the who spits and hisses at every move is rather like some people I've been acquainted with. Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Yeah, that's needed on a different front, too. As a complete n00b at the new institution, it's taking repeated tries to get things I need. Most critical now is access to the on-line homework & assessment tool the place uses, which I have never used before. I got coached on how to use the thing once I'm in, but there's this little one-time clueless-n00b issue I have about actually getting into the site and setting up my course. My coach (now away on vacation) told me the administrative assistant would have the access code I need; the latter individual has no idea what I'm talking about when I ask for it. I've just sent a begging email to the textbook representative (the on-line resource is run/sold by the textbook guys). Here's hoping....
