We point it at the wall, and he makes that part machine gun, part hiss noise at it. It makes me giggle every time. Could it be a dog? Anything's possible. Though I've never met a dog with retractable claws and such soft fur. His behavior could easily be explained by the fact that he's part Bengal cat. Apparently those are quirky little critters.
