It might be under number theory somewhere. But yes, I think what you see, Bazza, is required since almost all our arithmetic is base 10, and 11 is 1 more than 10. Eg: Sunweek, Monmonth, Thoryear, etc. each could be “seven” in duration. Eg: “Sunweek” lasts 7 weeks, then Monweek starts the week after for 7 weeks.
