AliceTheOwl
Re: Musings on Random Musings Will someone please tell me what bishonen homo-erotica is? I mean' date=' I understand the homo-erotica part, but what is bishonen?[/quote'] It's the Japanese word for "attractive boy." The literal translation is generally, "Pretty boy," and it's often abbreviated to "Bishi." The term for bishounen gay porn is yaoi, by the way. If it isn't very explicit, it's just shounen ai, literally, "Boy love."

This time, I purposefully did not use Google, but asked people here instead. Why? Because this obviously had to do with sex, and typing any sex-related term into Google is unlikely to give me a link to a site that explains the word in simple, concise terms but instead is far more likely to give me list after endless list of sites offering that kind of content, if I'll just part with my credit card number. The term bishounen, in and of itself, should've just yielded pictures of anime pretty boys, and maybe the "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" website. (you go around collecting bishies. Entertaining, for all of 3 seconds.) *eyes Mandy's post* Not a Gundam Wing fan, but that is a NICE pic you found there. ^ v ^
James Gillen
Re: Musings on Random Musings That's still on? Had no idea they were still making them. I can't really speak to South Park (was never that big a fan, I still think Jesus vs Santa Claus remains the best thing they've done and certainly have found some episodes/ideas funny, but not amazing), but it amazes me how some shows can settle into a formula and apparently never stop. Like the Simpsons. It's still funny, don't get me wrong, but I wish they'd ended it at least by season 10 or such. Well, in this episode Kenny dies (duh) but goes to Heaven and finds out that the handheld game he reached level 60 on was a combat simulator created by God to direct the final battle between Heaven and Hell, and the archangels want him to direct that battle for real- "Basically, you are our Keanu Reeves." Problem is, doctors resuscitate Kenny, but most of his brain cells died in the process, so he's left in a persistent vegetative state. This traps Kenny's soul on Earth while the forces of Hell are gearing up to seize Heaven, so the angels have to ensure God's will so that Kenny dies..... Guest Skaramine
Re: Musings on Random Musings Never needed it... Me either... but the way Christopher says it... and it's RIGHT at the start of the game before any action starts... but I stick through the scene because it's so damn fun. It's a cool looking comic from what I saw, and it formed the basis for Mark's Outlanders series, writing as James Axler.

I compiled a list of 130 questions from our review sheets so I can study, but my brain is FRIED! Ugh... still wanna get in at least another hour or so of studying, though. Wish me luck... gotten perfect scores on all the quizzes so far! Michelle aka Samuraiko See Whamme Whamme's sig.
