Outside they had a sign where they could arrange letters, and they always put something clever up. The favorite one that my wife saw, as she worked down the street was this one (remember, it's a nude dance place, the type with private booths): veni vidi veni Latin porn humor! James Gillen
Re: Musings on Random Musings It seems I've become a recognized expert... http://gmg.adnd.ru/tabletop/master/tips145.shtml Well, that's easy for YOU to say. JG

For the master there is nothing worse than to conduct thorough preparation, to send out the gripping and captivating motions to players and: not to obtain no response. Understandable that your character not will be in the center of events always, but even when you actively do not participate in the current episodes, you nevertheless should give to know to master that you are still interested in the game. In all there are the moments, when life does not make it possible to participate in the game. If circumstances are allowed, always report to master that you will be absent for a while. If there is no possibility to warn about the absence previously, then as soon as you will be able - send thorough explanation, why you did not answer the mail. zornwil
Re: Musings on Random Musings Now let's take Jack's advice converted from Russian to English, convert that to French, then to English, then to Chinese, then to English, then to German, and then back to English. Here's what we get - babelfish is fun: Forces to answer to each letter there your answer - this is short correspondence "with now does with my something, for I looks shortly in neighbour". To seize Hat?any bad relationship for the master to the line to supply completely, to prepare to the movement and to a potting court to the player inside and: No answer receives. May understand, but since that, if you are not, always you are actively not participation in their letter at the present Plot the drop center, however the control is to know to you, you always are interested to the play. In all moments you confront, if in perhaps to the participation in the play does not cause the lives. It is possible for family, you with the planning game area, or and however in their child birth you was not withdrawn to drive off to of roddoma perhaps but it is, is you and the bed by pneumonia. If you make the situation possible, always reports the master, miss you in one moment period. If not the possibility had, before, to inform to itself about the absence if you can - into the completely explained overview, you to supply not why the post office answered. This respect to the politeness, in addition does not only help, to conserve your place at the play. PS - I love the line "It is possible for family, you with the planning game area, or and however in their child birth you was not withdrawn to drive off to of roddoma perhaps but it is, is you and the bed by pneumonia. This not only tribute to politeness, but also will help to preserve your place in the game. The original text is as follows: 10 PBEM Etiquette Tips Follow these basic rules and, generally, you can't go wrong. 1. Post Yes, this is simplistic. So what. Make sure you respond to every move, even if it's a quick note saying "I don't really have something to do so I'll just do research". There is nothing a PBEM GM hates more than setting up the game, sending out an exciting and gripping move, and then receiving no replies. Your character isn't going to be center stage all the time, but when he's not you still need to let the GM know that you are still interested in the game. There will be times when life prevents you from posting. Maybe you and your family are going away on a trip. Maybe you're in the hospital having a baby. Maybe you're flat on your back with pneumonia. If possible, always warn your GM about times you're going to miss posting. If you can't warn him, send an note fully explaining why you missed responding to the game as soon as you are able. This is polite, and might save your spot in the game.

Besides, I wasn't saying that a flat-talent hack like you can't get published (and believe me, I've read your work... I know how talented you are). I said I am the better writer. Large difference.
