DC Heroes has two different kinds of pets. Pet refers to an animal companion, while pet is a household pet. Although brave and loyal, Tut is a household pet. A middle-aged African-American man, he is calm in the face of danger. Richard "Rick" Mason, is one of Andrea's fellow science teachers and the head of the science department. He owns a boat, scuba dives, plays guitar, sings, and is an outdoorsman. He lusts after Isis, and Andrea's cooking. Cindy Lee is an honor student who often helps Rick and Andrea in the lab.
