80 years we've waited for this

In November 1922, Howard Carter told the world, "I see wonderful things". Since then, no tombs have been found in Egypt's Valley of Kings. For decades, it has been the considered opinion of scientists there are no more tombs to be found in the Valley of Kings. New tombs, new pharaohs, have been relegated to fiction.

Until NOW! At last, a new tomb in the Valley of Kings! OK, it looks like they're just some retainers of a pharaoh, maybe some sarcophagi rescued from raided tombs. Still, if this tomb exists, maybe others do....

...Others found by your pulp adventurers whilst tracking Nazi mystics looking for the True Crown Of Upper And Lower Egypt, with its ability to unite disparate peoples. ;)

Because if you're going to invent new tombs in the Valley of Kings, found in the 1930's, it helps verisimilitude if there were/are tombs unknown to post-1922 Egyptologists. ;)

Since our pulp campaign stars in 1905' date=' we can not only discover new tombs in the Valley of Kings, we can do it before Howard Carter. All we have to do is make sure he doesn't figure out any foreigners were there first. :sneaky:[/quote']

Weren't most tombs eventually found during that time previously looted? Perhaps it was your characters?

Soon you will discover that the Curse of the Boy King is ravaging the world, an evil which can only be undone by painstakingly locating his anciently looted treasures and restoring them to his tomb. Then that putz Carter can come along and mess it all up again.
