Weldun
Re: The Things I've Learned Playing A Gadgeteer Nanotech is the new Magic. Define your gadget pool as an IIF nanotool and you can justify almost any power. And you can justify changing on the spot.
TheRavenIs
Re: The Things I've Learned Playing A Gadgeteer Being creative can be a hard thing to do, again and again, but as a Gadgeteer you have to be. You see something OOC in a movie, anime, where ever......point it out, you never know when you might need it IC.
Twilight
Re: The Things I've Learned Playing A Gadgeteer A create gadgets on the spot power pool is the reason Macguyver was so cool. It's also the reason he was so successful. Such a power pool could very well save your butt as it saved his BUT ONLY IF YOU BUY IT.
Weldun
Re: The Things I've Learned Playing A Gadgeteer One you've built something using your VPP, SAVE THE DESIGN. It speeds up game play if you keep a copy of all your designs in a well organised file of some sort. Weldun
Re: The Things I've Learned Playing A Gadgeteer Buy a couple of skill levels in Inventor with "only for pre-existing designs (-½)". Jomster
Re: The Things I've Learned Playing A Gadgeteer If you're playing a villain gadgeteer, you can hold the whole city to ransom just by creating a gadget that sets all the city's traffic lights to red! Big effect, nobody needs to get hurt - admittedly puts you on the "not so evil" side of villainy, but still variety makes the world go round... not every evil gadgeteer has to have an arsenal of gruesome death gadgets, some of them get by just by setting the traffic lights to red! Simmarly, don't forget to keep spares in a very secure place...
