Keith "The middle two are debatable for all members" Curtis Yeah, but I was thinking about if you were to incorporate them into a Fantasy Hero campaign world. As we're talking about the characters, not their setting.
Thia Halmades
Re: HEROes of the Stick Sorry, Curufea. I disagree. The setting & the characters are intrinsically linked in this case. They're cool because they're parodies of d20 characters who happen to exist in a two-dimensional world. Agree with Keith though, in that you're partially right - they're consistent rules for all characters. I'll take a stab at this, but I honestly (outside of Cleave & Power Attack) have no CLUE what Roy's Feat list looks like. IIRC, the author intentionally refuses to stat them out, so he can be funny as necessary. "It appears I may owe an apology to the tables of the world." Curufea
Re: HEROes of the Stick True - but wanting to make them up, I figured you would be going for comedy, so I thought "toon" Have as much of the comedy as possible...
Bik Britelite
Re: HEROes of the Stick Okay, I want to get in on this, but my book is not handy so fill in where its needed. Belkar would definitely have a huge item base. Mental Defense: Undetectable alignment (AP:??) Lead Sheet: OAF, Bulky (- ??); Limited power: only vs paladins with LOS (-??) Michael Hopcroft
Re: HEROes of the Stick Bard, has a Psych Lim, or other disad: Only uses Illusion spell to create opposite gender monster, to lure monster away sexually. Elan has used it for othber things too. Like posing as an ogre himself. "The boss says go over there." "OK, I'll go, strange orge I've never seen before." He then forgot the spell was still working and attacked his own reflection. I think Elan is actually fairly intelligent but lacks focus. He is the Gourry of the Order of the Stick. I think it would be more of a Phys Lim: Very Poor Attention Span (All the Time, Major).
