drunkonduty
Re: WWYCD Genocide - or Genocide? Knight Rider would reluctantly fight to kill. She joined up with UNTIL to make the world a better place: genocidal aliens are not helping that goal. But she's no world beater and would need to fight with a lot of allies to have a hope. A nervous breakdown due to Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome afterwards is very likely as she does have a code vs. killing.
The Weapon
Re: WWYCD Genocide - or Genocide? Wow' date=' I think you seriously underestimate players if you don't think they could come up with a 3rd option.[/quote'] Like trash their military then strand them on a planet far away with no spacecraft and minimal access to machinery and raw materials. Just enough so they don't starve, provided they don't spend all their energies trying to recreate their battlefleet.
Pulsar
Re: WWYCD Genocide - or Genocide? I'd be a bit conflicted about this scenario, first while Pulsar can kill he prefers not to and tries very hard not to. push come to shove he would kill, while he cannot kill hordes in a single blast he is powerful enough to do real damage and he would probably hit thier ships first. The scenario offers some questions that he would feel the need to investigate, such as why attack earth? what is the reason for the xenophobia? If he finds that they just are destroying civilizations 'because'. then he may well decide to give them a reason to have xenophobia and to ensure that they have no way to leave thier home planet(s).
