Christopher
Re: Idle Distraction: Super Webcomics Antihero For Hire: Here is a 5 page Previev. The Comic started in June 2003 and is still running. The Main characters design seems to be based on the Villian from this Parody on J-RPG's. Christopher
Re: Idle Distraction: Super Webcomics I think it could be a good time to restart this one. I am a little bit too lazy to go over all the links that have been posted so far and will only go on to post the ones I have right now. Definitively Superheroic: Grrl Power ("a comic about a crazy nerdette that becomes a superheroine") League of Super Redundant Heroes (parody of the genre) Henchmen for Hire (the other side of the supervillain business) Supernovas (when people get empowered the event affects a high security prision - and four teenagers) The Non-Adventures of Wonderella (a parody of [obviously] Wonder Woman) Evil Inc. (it's about superheroes, villains and a company; direct follow up to Greyston Inn; sometiems directly references DC Characters) The Adventures of Dr. McNinja (A Ninja. Who is also a Doctor. And who wants to be Batman) Love and Capes (Superman pastiche/Accountant falls in love with bookstore owner; also inlcudes a pastiche for every member of the Justice league and beyond) Fringe cases. They have many elements, but do not identify as Superhero comics on thier own. Some might fall into other genres as well. Your mileage may varry: Avengelyne Endstone Project GTH (Art is rather crude, but understanable; sometimes NSFW) Demon Fist Not A Villain Blade Bunny (to many killer robots to be not one) Culture Shock (A time travelled medieval Knight and a Ninja who is Vigilantee to get dates) Head Trip (sometimes switches to the storyline of chemokid and emokid, but overall not superheroic)
Christopher
Re: Idle Distraction: Super Webcomics Forgot the ones without RSS feed: Superhero Comics: Spinnerette (spider powers activate) Antihero For Hire (somewhat crude art style and had another long haitus recently) Hero By Night (the start is written as the original heroes yournal. But now a second, new hero has found the ring) Finge Cases: Schlock Mercenary (they are mecenaries and most of thier "powers" come from tech, but they usually save the galaxy) Waywards Sons (Aliens empowered by the "Star core" crash on earth and become the creatures of Legends - and the gods)
Rholio2
Re: Idle Distraction: Super Webcomics Already mentioned, but this one looks like a great campaign idea. http://supernovas.keenspot.com/d/20110630.html
Armitage
Re: Idle Distraction: Super Webcomics Already mentioned, but this one looks like a great campaign idea. http://supernovas.keenspot.com/d/20110630.html It's reminiscent of the Rising Stars comic book, with everyone with powers coming from one town, after it was struck by an astronomical energy event. Although in Rising Stars, it was every child in utero at the time of the event that gained powers.
Christopher
Re: Idle Distraction: Super Webcomics Crossoverlord: http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/ Is unusual that other superhero Webcomic Characters make cameos - incuding links to thier respective comics. With the title of Chapter 6 there are at least three pages dedicated to linking/showing other Webcomics.

But there is a followup project called Crossoverkill: http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverkill/
