Sociotard
I've been using GIMP for some time to enhance my photos, but I recently started trying tutorials to do fancier things. I saw a turorial to make a lightbulb look as if it were lit up. I thought I might look like a superhero if I used it on my own head instead of lightbulb stock art. Sociotard
Re: I superhero photomanip-ed myself. On a related note, I followed another tutorial to make it look like my shutterbug Dad was present at a fiery end-of-the-world.
DusterBoy
Re: I superhero photomanip-ed myself. All good, Sociotard, especially the one with your Dad present at Armageddon.
SSgt Baloo
Re: I superhero photomanip-ed myself. I agree with DusterBoy! You can't really prove you've been to Armageddon without pictures (and maybe a few autographs).
Narratio
Re: I superhero photomanip-ed myself. Can't be the real Armageddon - can't see any Terminators, Daleks or Borg. Godzilla nowhere in sight... although the meteors from space are cool. "This Island Earth" all over again.

lapsedgamer
Re: I superhero photomanip-ed myself. Nah. Two energy projectors will never work as a team. all you will do is snipe all the time. Who is going to close with the enemy or yell, "It's clobbering time?" Sociotard
Re: I superhero photomanip-ed myself. On a related note, I just made a submission to Worth1000's current beginner contest. We were supposed to make signs that read what we wish they read. EDIT: I won the contest! I took first place. http://www.worth1000.com/view.asp?entry=556620

Every time I get an X-Ray I ask the technician if I'll get superpowers; I have yet to get anything (that I'm aware of at least). Repped. Your photo manipulation stuff is cool, I'll have to try that some time.
