(A) Integrate this (use spherical coordinates!) to verify that using this variable density gives you a number within a few per cent of the mass of the Sun. (B) Find the moment of inertia of the Sun around the z-axis assuming it rotates as a solid body. Remember that the r^2 in the formula for moment of inertia refers to the distance from the rotation axis, which is not merely the radial coordinate. Compare what you obtain to the value that comes from assuming the Sun is a uniform sphere. (C) Compute the rotational kinetic energy of the Sun, again assuming it rotates as a solid body with a period of 26 Earth days.
