Re: Help me populate a dying space colony

It is rare for someone like Dr. Sylvester Finke to be in such a place. There are so very few doctors even a bad one is valuable. But Dr. Finke is a very good. Whe he came here is a mystery to most. Though, speculation, is for such a highly talented doctor to have come here something bad happened in his public or private life.

In truth, the doctors bespectacled, slightly built, late 30s look hides a man who knows how to use knives in many inventive ways. And his knowledge of anatomy with his inscrupulous nature makes him valuable in his after hours as a tort....er, interrogation specialist for the Gideons. Not that he cares for them much, of course. But, a doctor wont get rich in this place without some extra income.

Alternative Extra: With news being hard to come by on the station. Dr. Finke may be one of the few here that knows a lot about the "Butcher of Grettum". Though the amount of "concern" he may have is how much he "detest" the Butcher's "crude" methods.

Re: Help me populate a dying space colony

Two grizzled veterans have been spending a lot of time in the station's pubs. One of them was kicked out of the service for repeatedly being drunk on duty. Nevertheless, he is still quite good at his job, when he's sober. The other is a decorated hero, being one of the few survivors of the disastrous Battle of Barnard's Star. He can't seem to remember what happened in the battle; his mind completely blocks out any memory of it.
