Background/History: In a guarden in the dimention of Teroka, she waits. A beutiful woman with long strawberry blond ringlets which almost fall to the ground, and big green eyes wearing a long pink dress. She waits for a pail aisan girl with white hair and wearing a white kimoto.

 

"There comming. I know it, my dear friend. Please, take this and hide it in the other dimentions. Find someone who needs the power it repersents and who can guard it. You carry Teroka's last hope." With that, the pale girl changes into her lung dragon form, takes something from the woman, then leaps into the air and upon a passing cloud. As she looked back, she spoted four other women entering the guarden. The woman surenders to them without a fight.

Robert Trueheart awakens from an odd dream. He shakes his head...prehaps he was to excited about the first anual anime festivel the city is haveing, or prehaps it was from reading to much manga last night. Anyways, he gazed at the time...he was going to be late if he stoped for breakfest. So, he got dressed, packed his cosplay costume into his backpace, kissed his mother goodbye, checked his funds (nothing bums a person out like not haveing enougth cash at a convention), and made his way.

Into a dark palace she was taken. A female giant stood befor her, hungering for dark emotions. "You are the last defender, Lady Heart. The last defender of Teroka. How does it feal, knowing that I striped you of your friends and loved ones, and that your subjects will suffer and you can do nothing about it?'

 

"I feal pitty for you, Queen Nightmara. Friendless and alone."

 

"Enougth!" She then formed a dark ball of energy between her hands and launched it at Lady Heart. She did nothing to prevent the orb from hitting her. After about a second, there was nothing left of Lady Heart.

 

"Wait...there should be a Godgem! Why is there no Godgem?" Queen Nightmara asked.

 

One of the four women sobbed, "There was a lung dra..." Just then, Queen Nightmara lashed out with a giant hand.

 

"Find where that lung dragon went! I want that Godgem!"

 

"I shall track it down, my queen," replied a floating robe with green lights in it's eyes.

 

"Do so NOW!"

It was an eventful anime convention, but even the most eventful ones can have periods of bordome. Robert pulled out his book to read...when he bumped into someone.

 

He got himself up and spoted a cute aisan woman in a white kimoto and white hair. From the looks of her, she coulden't be more than 16 years old, much like himself. So he helped her to her feat.

 

"Yes...I sence that you will need this soon. And it will need you also." She sounded cryptic as she talked and gently placed something over Robert's left wrist.

 

Half way through the convention, and a black robe floated over the dealer's room. Chuckling to itself, it waved the magical staff it has and changed objects to monsters at randome. Robert then herd a voice in his mind as people started to flee the convention. "Please, people need our help. Please say after me, 'Change of Heart!'."

 

After repeating thoes words, Robert Truelove was nowhere to be seen. In his place, a teenage girl of 16 stood, with a fluffy pink, red, and white dress and long strawberry blond ringlets. Gazeing up at the floating being, she said, "You have disrupted a convention celebrating something people love. I will not stand for that. I, Lady Heart, will stop you!"

 

Quote: "Love is much stronger than hate. Let me show you."

 

Personality/Modivation: Robert was a lonly boy, prone to pestimistic coments about his world. Basicly, he was a boy who needed love the most. Now, with the power of Lady Heart at his side, he feals more...alive...able to solve problems and worthy to have friends. (And friends he has...as a learner of the Court of Dreams). He is slightly unawair of the original Lady Heart in the begining, and what happened to her, but is learning fast.

 

He is rather obsesed with Japanes Pop Cluture (which is more than just anime and manga), and would stop himself from harming objects of his obsesion. He also has sworn to protect love in all it's forms, even if he is still strugling with himself in figuring out exactly what love is in his heart. He will not delibertly kill anyone.

 

Powers/Tactics: Robert can tap into the Godstone on his left wrist to change into Lady Heart. This power, "Instant Change", is basicly a metapower (that is, a power created from another power). It is writen up as the following: 1d6 Cosmetic Transformation (clothing to other clothing), Area of Effect (Surface, +1/4), No Range (-1/2) Active Points: 4. Real Points: 3. AND 1d6 Cosmetic Transformation (Looks to Difrent Looks), No Range (-1/2), Self Only (-1/2), Linked (to base power, -1/4). Active Cost: + 3. Real Cost: +1. AND 1d6 Cosmetic Transformation (Gender, Male to Female), No Range (-1/2), Self Only (-1/2), Linked (to base power, -1/4). Active Cost: +3. Real Cost: +1. Basicly, do not even roll the dice for this power, just spend the END and it works.

 

Once transformed, thanks to the magic of OIAID, he has hightened DEX, CON, PRE, OCV, DCV, SPD, REC, END, and STUN. Also, he has some Power Defence and Mental Defence (which even trickles down when he is non-transformed).

 

Once transformed, he can tap into this "Love Energy" to do some awsome attacks. And, to make maters 'worse' for the bad guys, he can also 'tap' into love energy in places dedicated to love (like wedding chapels, ect), and increse this power to a whoping 120 Charater Points worth of attacks. But, in places dedicated to hate and other dark emotions, this 'pool' fades to 30 points. To use any of the attacks, he must say the name of the attack, trace a heart in the air with his right pointer finger, then do something with the heart (depending on the attack). With "Heart Attack" he pushes the heart forward with his palm. With "Heart Light", he touches the heart with his pointer finger and it lights up. With "Heart Strings", he flicks his fingers into the heart and causes strings to expell from it. With "Healing Heart" he grabs the heart and touches the person who needs healing with it. With "Heart Breaker", he chops the heart with his hand to shaters it and it reforms into a jagged heart of glass type dagger.

 

Robert is also extremly beutiful, in an almost anime "kawaii" way, while transformed. It should be noted that, when transformed, his body is female, and is affected by powers which can only affect females. This 'fealmale-ness' only affects the body portion of his being. His mind and soul are vary much male.

 

Tacticly, Robert tends to use his less harmful powers (Heart Strings, Heart Light) against living beings, using only Heart Attack against them if it appears that thay can take it. She will only use Heart Breaker against non-living things (including Nightmariens, for once at 0 BODY, Nightmariens return to there original object form), and if something needs to be cut.

 

Robert has a few weeknesses. Places dedicated to dark emotions lessen his attack powers. He can also involentarly transform back into his 'Robert Trueheart' idenity if he somehow starts fealing lots of dark emotions from himself.

 

Apperance: Robert Trueheart is a rather handsome boy of 16, usaly wearing casual clothing, prehaps with an anime twist (an anime charater on his shirt, or a anime charater cell phone clip on his backpack, ect...). He has black hair and green eyes.

 

As Lady Heart, his hair lenghtens to past his shoulders and changes to a strawberry blond coloration. His eyes stay the same color. His body shapes to that of a girl of his age. His costume is that of a frilly pink dress witch the skirt going just below the knees, with white lace and red valentime heart shaped accents. This includes the pink backbow and matching hairbow. His hair is styled in loose ringlets, with one hard ringlet over each ear (much like the anime charaters B-ko or Linn Minmay), shaped much like a valentime heart than a round tube. His boots end just above the knees and are pink. His gloves are also pink, and go over his elbows, ending just inches before the pink leg-o-mutton-ish style sleves. To compleat the look, there are some light freckles upon his face when transformed, and a golden tiera with a red heart stone appears, along with two heart shaped dangling earings. Also, the charm bracelet, which is invisable, becomes visable in this mode.

Campain Use: Lady Heart does not hunt in normal situations. He can be used as with any other NPC superhero.

 

The GM might be a little putoff by haveing his idenity be a boy. This can easly be changed by makeing his secret idenity into Roberta Trueheart instead of Robert Trueheart. To make this modifcation, remove Gender Change from the Instant Change power and find somewhere to spend the extra point.

 

In some situations, Lady Heart might be to strong for the room. Basicly a 60 point Multipower which in the right enviroment can become 120 points is scary. The GM is free to modifie the Multipower so it fits there tolerance in there campain. On the other hand, haveing the Multipower drop to 30 points can also be scary. Again, the GM is free to modifie the Multipower to fit there tolerance in that regards also. Just remember that, as the GM, you control exactly what consitutes as a 'love area' or a 'dark emotion area'.

 

To make Lady Heart weeker, lower the value of the Multipower (you can even remove some attacks if you wish), lower some defences, or even add the limitation Unified Power (Love Energy) to most of the powers. To make Lady Heart stronger, you can add some more powers (like Mind Control "I Don't Feal Like Fighting", or Telepathy "Only To Read The Emotion Of Love"), and prehaps jack up the Multipower to about 80 points (160 points in love areas).

 

Lady Heart is designed for use in a Standard Superhero campain, and may easly feal at home in a Mystic Masters campain, or a Teen Champions campain (with some powering down). He might feel OK in an Epic Champions campain, but might not make the cut in an Galatic Champions campain.
