The remote desktop server refers to a WMI setting to determine the fingerprint of the SSL certificate it presents to connecting clients.  In order to make the damn thing present the correct bloody certificate, you have to jump into Powershell and issue some arcane commands to determine the certificate fingerprint and then manually load that fingerprint into the remote desktop server settings.  This is because the remote desktop server configuration tool that was in Windows Server 2008 was deleted in Server 2012.  :rolleyes:
