  1. That's kool I didn't know you could do that... Nifty WC
  2. Chris is right. Ot if you want the pic to be visable you need to have a place on the web pt store the pic, and simply put in a html tag to the pic Like so "img src="http://www.website.com/images/your_image.jpg" alt="my pic" WC
  3. Power Sink Good Morning gang, did a bit of work lastnight on Power Sink, and got him colored, and will be workign on the SFX latter today, but Ithought I'd share the colored version I have with you all (and move this great thread back to the top where it belongs) WC
  4. Power Sink Hello again, I'm back with a new Pic... just finished him, and still need to color/add effects, but thought you's enjoy a preview. Power Sink is played by Matt in our group, and he's able absorb both physical attacks, and energy attacks and then chanel the energy into his EB, and FF... Power Sink's Quote: "Oh... That hurt a little, but I'm alright." WC
  5. Brick - In our Game the Brick's name is Thrash, and while not totaly off the beaten path for bricks, hes BIG tough, and has all those nifty 'Brick tricks, he's a bit on the dif side of the big dumb guy. 1) he's a computer wiz, second only to the teams Gadgeteer. he's a GLORY HOUND big time, anything to get attention, and a total Gen X-er... Extreem sports, haning with Stars, Endorcments, you name it... if he can get seen doing somethign kool he's there. Thrash has to be reigned in from Time to time, but he never looses that "Child like" quality to his aproach to being a superhero. The fact that he's a brick is secondary to his personalty EB - Pheobus, a NPC in the game is an EB wit hSolar powers, whoe prety short lved at night... his main dif to his personality it he's Blue color... a construction worker... a guy who if he could have chosen his Power would have been a Brick... he has a rivalry with Bricks, has great Ranged combat abilities, but likes to close in... the total brick in an EB's body... works out, looks big and muscled, but next to real paranormals he's just a norm. Make for interesting play. Speedster - As others have said.. .Laid back... In our game Speedster (yeah the Player was at a loss for a name so that;s all it was, but it fit the char) was a total California surfer dude... he needed the THC in pot, so he smoked to slow down his brain, or he's burn out. He always had the "Mad Munchies" and always was laid back... even when doing things at high speed. And he could always be counted on to get distracted by a cute girl, or some "Tasty Waves" All I can think of at this time, but I'll agree that most everything HAS been done. It's just re-doign them in a fresh way WC
  6. Sketchpad, Wow, great work on both of those. You got a goo eye for the flames, and the smoke that I wish I had. I just recently picked up alot of old V&V stuff at a local shop owned by Fantasy Games Unlimited, and am curently in the process of converting the characters. I already did a group from their villains book... Concrete Savages http://www.energy-blast.com/champions/villains/concrete_savage_files.htm Take a look... no stats up as of now, just colored Pics and I actualy had to beef up these guys, and their car for the powerlevel of my game, but they made a great battle. WC
  7. Hey me again... fogot to mention that I drew this by hand, and colored him in Photoshop. With a background I found online, made from Bryce I assume. Thanx for the comment Durnin WC
  8. I'm Back Hey gang it's me Wildcat. It's been a while since I've been the the boards, and since I've done anything artistic, but now I'm back, and have a new pic to share. this character in my campaign is no longer an active PC, but I got a whild hair to draw him, the Player almost wanted to play him again he was so impressed with the picture, but he stuck with his primary character. Sentinel II is a very Ironman like character, but then again who isn't in a suit of powered armor.
  9. Hmm That might be a better way to simulate the advancement... The Immortal could also buy up the VPP over the course of the year, so it won't fade... there by cementing some of the skills/power he did absorb... but I like that 'Getting Rusty' bit, because Methoes certainly was Rusty when he 1st started apearing on the show. I was very unhappy with the Level system I created, but was a bit stuck back then(writers block I think), and workign on my own. Parhaps we (all of us interested) could put our heads together and actualy revamp my Immortal Hero, and I could poste it (with Credit to all who helped) and then we might beable to kinda set a Standard for playing Immortals in the Hero system. Interested? Let me know : Vesbin@cox.net WC
  10. Ooops Posted it twice ... Sorry WC
  11. I once ran a game I called GateCrashers. It was based in part off of Sliders/Stargate with a bit of CyberHero, and some more (think Immortal Hero) thrown in. It was set in the world as we know it, but with Tech having advanced about 10yrs ahead of what we have now. The Characters were all Corporate Trouble Shooters, and were sent to investigate this 'Gate' that was found. The Idea was to have them hopping from world to world, each one being varried. I mean one could be a Ravensloft Rip off, while the next was Nazi World, and the next Spelljamers... I started them off in a 'Lost World' setting using the Old Hero suplement 'Lands of Adventure' (Or was it Lands of Mystery?) and it was to be their central point of world hopping. The game was going well as a PBEM, but real life reared it's ugly head, and it ended, before they could even get off the 1st world :-( I still get pestered from time to time to start it up again, but I'm running a realy good Champions game right now, and just don't have the time, but it sure would be nice... ::sigh:: Anyway if anyone is interested I have a link to 90% of it posted on my site take a look and if it provides any sparks for Ideas then the game won't have died completely :-D http://www.geocities.com/vesbin/ WC
  12. Wow Lots of great stuff here guys. I did a 4th ed Immortal Hero write up (and I'll admit I borrowed heavily from the WoD one) but that was LONG ago, 6-7 yrs now, and I honsetly havn't gone back over it with 4th ed, or with my greater knowlage of Highlander since I've seen more now, and have the 1st season on DVD. So all this makes me want to go back and re-visit my Immortal Hero. I didn't see any discution (maybe I missed it??) on the Quickening, and the taking of it from another Immortal... and how that translates into Hero. I did some work on that... I don't think it's the 'End-all Be-all' of how this should be done, but I'd love to see what we could come up with. Please feel free to chk out my Immortal Hero at the following Link: http://www.geocities.com/vesbin/ Tell me what you think, and maybe together we can all hammer out a acceptable solution/Immortal Write up for Hero WC
  13. This is Ogre (no not that Ogre) he was a massive mountain of a man, who gave the party it's needed muscle. He's standing outside of the temporary camp we all set up before a more permanent settlement could be constructed WC
  14. Victoria & Brey expressing themselves WC
  15. Another FH character. This was the groups Priestest, Victoria Rose. and the woman that Brey fell in love with at 1st sight. Her beign a preistest kept him from telling her for some time. but eventualy he did, and she returned his love... latter they were married. This Pic is the the night Brey and Victoria were first 'together' (that's Brey's Cloak sh has wrapped around her) WC
  16. Fantasy Hero Characters OK so these next few arn't Champions characters, but they are real Fantasy Hero char. When I drew these I was testing my skill at background, and had just learned how o colore a bit better This is Brey, He was the leader of our little party in a friend of mine's PBEM game. He was a Scout... Sort of a Ranger in the traditional sence. This pic was when they were on the way to a new land to be colinized, right after a training session with Ogre (pic to follow) WC
  17. Jayde, Good job on those.. I really liked Haywire too. Now it's time for me to post another of my pics. This is Apache AKA Warbird. She's an Aerican Indian Mutant (ala Thunderbird) In her curent incarnation she was a member of Omega an evil Mutant group in the vien of Stryfe's MLF, in fact I'll admit it I stole Stryfe (Image and a vague imatation of his powers) to lead this group along with a powerful telepath I named Serne. Any way Apache had been manipulated into working for Omega, and was just recently captured by the Heroes, and they have set her mind free, and begun her rehabilitation. WC Edit--> Added a graphic bkgrnd looks a bit better
  18. Re: Canadian Shield Wow that looks Great Jayde, nice effects... can't wait to see the update. WC
  19. Re-sizing Issues Try scanning them in at a higher reseloution say 600 then after getting them into say Photoshop, bring em down to a more workable size like 300 once your done save em that sized, but then resize then again for posting on the web... I do that, and they don't look blury. It's when you scann em at only 100 then shrink em thye get warped. WC
  20. Quote from an NPC that almost killed a player We were playing a Teen Super hero game using the Ravenswood Academy. The PC's are all gathered around a pool party and one of the NPC's is trying to hit on another one. NPC that is speaking is a Southern character, complete with drawl and everything . . . In an attempt to hit on the character, he clears everone else away from the target love interest. First character he sends away is Prodigy and 9 year old super genious. Second one is a PC that get's sent off to talk to another charcter. Leaving him alone to work his magic (sorta . . . ) Said character is, rahter well endowed for her age and Fletch (the NPC in question) makes the mistake and breaks the plane. During the conversation, Prodigy comes back and he starts talking to her, allowing the other character to escape. As he's talking he turns around notices it's just them . . . which leads to the quote "Damn it child . . . can't you see (see's Megan walking away) I'm goin' down in flames here?" I said that just as one of my players was taking a drink . . . I thought he was going to die. WC
  21. Another old Pic newly Colored This one is my version of the Terminator from the Old Teen Titans Comics. In my world he's called Death Stalker the Terminator, to distinguish him from the villain group Deathstroke. WC (this is the Pic I made the Chainmail patter for previously seen on the Beserkers)
  22. Re: Re: Another Beserker Seems I'm getting better the more I do. And Loki was one of the better drawn. I still have Hiemdall, Thajazi, Tyr & Odin (my fav) left to color. (I just recently colored the Mechanon from Champions main book, but unsure if I should post it here since I didn't draw it) I acctualy used these guys against my group, and thumped the PCs... the Team is unsure if they want a re-match or would rather they just stay away. WC
  23. Another Beserker OK gang here's the latest one. The feedback I'm getting is 50-50 chainmail-no chainmail so I think I'll give ya a side-by-side comparison. WC
  24. Next Bererker OK her's the next one... Still wondering if the Chainmail is workign or not... let me know wich one looks better. WC
  25. Hello Me again Been a while since my last post... don't want this to die out.Back in 94 I did my own drawings of the Beserks from Dark Champions. Well I collored them in, and saw how truely bad a job I did. Well just this weekend I pulled out the originals from 94... and a second look the drawing wernt' that bad, but the coloring I did was the bad part... So with my Photoshop skills growing (but still not 100% there yet) I attempted to color the Berserks... here are the 1st 2 I did
