  12. Hi Guys, I have recently started to write up characters for a joint combined DC/Marvel Universe campaign I will be running using Heroclix figures. So far I have completed Captain America, Spider-Man, Superman, the Thing, The Abomination and the Blob and am about half way through Mister Fantastic. I have been using many sources for the Write ups including all the great write ups at the great netbook of real heroes and other great sites. Also the USD has been an amazing help. The write-ups are on the powerful end of the scale, trying to take into account all the experiance and power applications the characters have used over the years. I have used Hero Designer for them but am unsure which is the best method to post them to the boards for discussion and use. Anyone care to suggest anything? rgds Dean
  13. I am also looking foward to this product. One subject I would like to see addressed fall all of us guys who are running a present day champs campaign is a method of utilising all these cool characters from different eras. We already have many characters turning up from different time periods in CU products and Digital Hero. We will have a lot of extra characters in Galactic Champions and also down the line Golden Age and Silver Age supplements. I would like to see a common method of time travel inserted into the universe, something the heroes could use (when I needed them to) without being available all the time or abusive. Although I love Captain Chronos I don't want to use him all the time for these plots. With their being a hero games meta setting and one overall time line for all products, it seems to me it would open up all the other settings for me to use for some great changes of pace (this week guys you find yourself back in the 20's with the Raven, later that year they jump foward in time to the Terran Empire). This would obviously encourage sales and interest between product lines and time epochs. Maybe an organisation that protects the time line? any thoughts?
  14. I wonder how soon we will get a supplement for the new CU that covers a race of gods/hidden immortal race. I have seen on other threads a book called (I think off the top of my head) "Hidden Lands" which will cover races such as the Empyreans and the Lemurians. These races are I think the CU version of gods, i see them as a New gods/ Eternals/Olympians mixture which could be really fun. I don't know how many characters a book like that would cover, but anything has got to be better than the 4th edition Olympians supplement. rgds Dean

  16. Is Galactic Champions only going to give characters that are active in the far future (the year 3000 has been mentioned). Or will many of the characters be active in the current CU? I ask because my campaign is already quite time travel intensive so I can make use of all the cool characters you are giving us which are not currently active (Dr. Macabre, Scarlet Shield, Kic Chameleon, etc.). And what kind of guys are we going to see? I am very happy to see a Thanos Type, would we also see mega powerful guys like Galactus, or the Watcher? other obvious possiblities are the galactic empire supers such as Krees/Skrulls and teams such as the Legion of Super Heroes and Guardians of the galaxy. rgds Dean

  18. I bought the subject up as the issue seems to be glossed over in the new CU. There does seem to be a niche for an X Men like organisation (and a Brotherhood type while you are there) to be created. I am not a fan of the current situation in the Marvel universe where in my own humble opinion it has got way out of hand and it seems lopsided in favor of mutant storylines, but they were only going with what sold I guess. I much prefered the situation when their was only the uncanny x men title during the golden age of Bryne & Claremont when the X-Men were important to the Marvel universe but not ALL important. I do own the Mutant File but thought it suffered from much the same problems as the Allies book. I would like to see the mutant storyline expanded a little within the CU but again not to the point of domination. rgds Dean
