  2. Re: Cool Guns for your Games Well, it's a Hollowpoint either way (which can mess you up if it hits a non-armored spot), and the poison is an extra bite which pretty much insures you go down almost immediately.

  9. Re: Cool Guns for your Games It is heavy, yes, but also has superior penetration with it's rockets compared to most other LAWs. Also, it's certainly better than the first Panzerfaust .
  10. Re: Cool Guns for your Games I was thinking of efficiency, not law. On a smaller note, I find it funny that you can blow a woman's head off, but can't shoot at her with bullets filled at the cap with cyanide. In any case, in the games I tend to run, the PCs are "special forces" that aren't subject to the same legal parameters as policemen or regular soldiers, so...poison bullets would be back on the table.
  11. Re: Cool Guns for your Games The Dynamit Nobel Panzerfaust 3. Larger image This is a fine choice for a modern day reloadable light anti-tank weapon.
  12. http://alanwake.wikia.com/wiki/The_Taken They are effectively invincible while their shadowy coating is up, but a flashlight/lantern can destroy their coating in a few seconds (as well as stun them while the light is focused on them), after which they are vulnerable to conventional injury. Also, extremely bright sources of light (flashbangs and gun flares, for instance), can instantly vaporize them from the get-go. Lastly, certain sources of light can keep them at bay, much like a crucifix can keep vampires at bay. How would the above be represented in HERO 6th Edition?
  13. Re: Cool Guns for your Games Hm. I was thinking of cyanide, which is immediately acting.
  14. Re: Cool Guns for your Games Assuming you're fighting mostly living beings, and can hit vulnerable areas, wouldn't poison bullets be the uber-ammo?

  22. Re: Ctrl+V They are taking this realism to the new f**king level. In real life there is advertisement everywhere and Alan Wake captures the realism nicely. In Alan Wake 2 we can assume he is going to go to eat in Burger King, Mc Donalds or Pizza Hut. Or maybe he will stuff his belly with Kentucky Fried Chicken. Alan Wake will collect Nokia mobilephones in the sequel. And maybe he will even play Alan Wake on Xbox in Alan Wake 2. Who the f**k knows anymore.
