  2. Re: Gestalt: Architects of Change: What Would *You* Like to See Just bought the first book...exceptional setting! I recently started a 6E game for some friends and wish I'd bought the book a month ago - I'd have used it. Can't wait to see the next one. - Uncle K.
  3. Re: First Character of My Creation.. What do You All think of It?? Looks pretty good. Absorption vs Energy (with a limitation for only against electrical attacks) might be a fitting power to add later on. - Uncle K.
  4. Re: Avatars: The -other- Patriots ...thanks for the recommendation. Looked decent, so I picked it up through RPGNow... - Uncle K.
  5. Re: Avatars: The -other- Patriots Nice thread. I'm starting a campaign for a group that wants to be villains, and the few initial character concepts I've received seem to fit well with a 'seven deadly sins' theme. The discussion here so far has been helpful - thanks to all who have participated. I'd already begun looking at 'In Nomine' before reading the earlier post about it - good stuff. The player characters will have already been poster-children for their respective sins before coming together as a group. Greed and Sloth are spoken for (and are in good hands from what I've seen so far), and I've seen two potential builds for Rage (personally I was thinking a dark version of Alpha Flight's Shaman would work well, but I liked one player's idea for a Speedster that was in a constant rage due to how slow everything else around him is moving). The players are not limited to choosing from just the main 7, but it seems to be the way this is forming. Lots yet to do... - Uncle K.
  6. Re: HERO System Martial Arts Just bought a copy of this last night...looks great!
  7. Re: The Ultimate Base --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...I see it too, my new book is the same...perhaps they'll be kind enough to post it for us somewhere on their website. Even though it's not a BIG issue, it's really frustrating to spend so much on a book to then find things like that missing. I bought one of the 5th edition core hard-covers that had several missing pages - that really burnt me on Hero for quite a while. Kinda annoying that nobody has answered your question, instead choosing to focus solely on the distribution issue. - Uncle K.
