  1. Kid sister.. This was a concept for Quest...the kid sister of Polaris(another post from years ago...)
  2. More memories... This was a four-color concept, Kestrel, that went with the pic of Aero I had posted...
  3. Digging through memories... Just moved my last boxes from storage into my house(7 months after I bought it, sheesh)...anyway, sorting through stuff to throw away, I found a few pics to share...this was an early rendition of the Inspector Chase/Bombshell character I posted a few years ago...
  4. New pic, sort of... Here's a quick pic, from something I did I think a while back, a reimagining anyway...simple pencil drawing w/ colored pencil for detail. This is Freedom...a Martial Artist/Street Fighter Ryo/Ken type, with a Captain America bent...
  5. Latest scratching... This is X-Ray, an energy projector with the ability to tune his energy output completely along the Electromagnetic spectrum. Designed for a campaign at HeroCentral.
  6. Golden Age Concept Hi again, This Aero, a WWII concept, 4 color hero I came up with. A special agent of the US Army, working with the new "superheroes", Aero is an Army soldier given a flying suit. The technology was stolen from the Germans(who had gleened it from alien technology), and produced this prototype light armor, which granted Aero, flight, enhanced vision, limited life support and bulletproof protection. On his thighs are twin "plane buster" .50 pistols with specialized rounds to cripple enemy planes. Anyways, here he is....drawing done with pencil, pen and dollar store colored marker.
  7. Hiya Folks Think I posted this pic once before, but I can't recall.....this is the follow-up pic to Liberty(pg. 195)........after our intrepid patriot was framed and imprisoned.....her faith in truth, justice and the American way, shattered....she breaks free during a transport, her spirit so fractured, her hair turned black, as well as the star on her chest.....she now calls herself, Mayhem........
  8. Yeah, I already knew that.... Being a former Marine, I'm quite acquainted with Patriotism and the "proper" use of the flag...and yes it did occur to me to put the stars on the top....I just didn't want to redraw the whole flag.......but thanks for your input on the overall drawing of a comic book character....
  9. Playing with watercolors Hi again, This is a pic of a character that I drew probably a couple of years ago. I was never really satisfied with it, but I liked the way the cape flowed. I pulled it out a couple of days ago, and painted it with watercolors...a different medium for me. The background completely faded when I scanned it, she's supposed to be hovering in the clouds....sigh.....anyway, this is Liberty...and for Herophiles....her "starred" harness, is a psychic energy absorption harness which absorbs the ambient feelings of the people/crowd around her, and turns it into heightened abilities, so if she has a lot of public support, or "american spirit" as it were, she becomes more powerful.
  10. Been a long time..... since I posted, but this is a simple drawing of my character in a game at Herocentral....Yoshikawa Kyoji......a ninja with origami powers that mimic things in nature....for instance....his "sword" is a Mantis claw....
  11. Fantasy Hero This is a different style for me, drew up a character for a Fantasy Hero campaign on HeroCentral....this is Imarian
  12. Latest pic It's been a while since I've posted a pic, but I've been experimenting with different styles. This is my attempt at anime/manga.....no I don't know the difference....anyway...this is Inspector Chase..aka Bombshell...some of you may remember a pic I posted a long time ago......Chase is an NPC in my Herocentral campaign. As always, a simple pencil and ink drawing, colored with Berol Prismicolors. Sorry, that really was a huge pic, hope this is better...
  13. Re: Superhero Images Hi all, Been a while since I posted here. I've been spending most of my time in HeroCentral, but I still like visiting here too. After sifting through the previous posts, artists are limited to a specific amount of memory for posts. I would still like to continue to occasionally post a new image here and there. How do I figure out how much memory I still have available? Okay, answered that myself..........now how do I delete previous posts to actually have some room available to post new images?
  14. Re: Superhero Images I just have the colored pic, but I could mask and cut out the colors. It would take a while, but it's possible.
  15. Re: Superhero Images LOL, Well, at least he's finally a dark color, instead of chrome or white.....that never was very good for sneaking around at night......maybe some enterprising computer graphics artist will edit the pic with a gun metal gray/blue, with the texture to match(since the scanning sucked this time).
  16. Re: Superhero Images Here's my latest pic.: Nightstalker........I liked the pic, but I was really disappointed with the scanning. The depth and texture of the armor was completely lost. And there was these strange bands across the pic....but anyway, here it is...pencil drawing, Berol Prismacolor colors.
  17. Re: Superhero Images Hi again everybody, thanks for you comments. Mags - my medium was a Comic Book Pages Pro Blue Board, with an HB pencil, and Berol Prismacolor pencils. I used a Gel Ink black pen for the energy effects, and then copy and pasted my pic to a cloud background. Rob C. Rogers - I was going to do those pictures for GGU, and LOST(hiding head now) all my information on them. I went to the GGU site, and things looked really messed up. I haven't checked in a while, maybe things are better now. Blue - thanks for the support, now I just have to post more. I'm what about 3800 behind you? Actually, since I do everything by hand, I just need the time....
  18. Re: Superhero Images Havent been here in a long time, my PC crashed, took most of my artwork with it. Here's my newest pic: Slipstream, for Hero Force in HC.
  19. Re: Superhero Images Hello all, It's been forever since I posted here(like pg. 106). I haven't done much work lately, my PC crashed and killed about 95% of my Art files......sighhhhhhh. Anyway, this is a very simple pic, that I drew at work, in about 2 minutes. The original pic was done with a black and red pen and was about 2" x 3", I dressed it up with my Scanner utility. The character is Kyoji, he's a beginning level ninja with Origami powers, the sword is Origami, energized with his spirit energy.
  20. Re: My House Rules. Comments Welcome So far, I like all the things discussed. I do have a question though........ With the limits on Comliness, most heroes are going to be rather attractive. How much of an effect does it have in your campaign. I generally, as a house rule, looked at the combined PRE and COM to determine the players outward effect on their environment. Some people are truly beautiful wallflowers after all.
  21. Re: Minor player problem ... I think your player has watched a few too many Action movies. Being a former Marine, you cannot, will not, under ANY circumstances, EVER remove anything ordinance wise from a military arsenal. The only access to weapons is when your part of active service. No individual owns any of the equipment, it belongs to the Government. That being said, it would be fairly easy for someone of military background to have contacts in the military world to purchase the weapons they need...............BUT that's an entirely different adventure waiting to happen.
  22. I have a questions of mechanics............ I have a warrior, who is bonded with a spirit, gaining powers and abilities from it. I was trying to create a way, that if he concentrated, he could attack the "spirit" plane, i.e. - desolid. This ability would be for all forms of combat, the ability comes from within him, not an object or focus. Would it be a naked advantage, based on STR? or are there more appropriate ways to create this ability?
  23. Re: Teleportation, useable as an attack... I totally agree with Doc's assessment. Giving a player the ability to virtually kill any opponent is NOT GOOD. That being said, when the player ALSO suffers 20 Body NND whenever they 'Port their opponent INTO a reinforced concrete basement, they may reconsider their actions. The idea of the power is meant to be useful, and versatile, not a cheap excuse as a character killer.
  24. Global Guardians Thanks, I signed up for both, but I prefer my Hotmail address to be used if that's possible, it's posted within the drafts.

    Opinion poll

Collateral Damage I liked all the ideas presented, but aren't a few things being overlooked. If you're the GM, you decide what's appropriate, and, unless it's a REALLY big threat in front of the Hero, is he/she/it going to pay for all the damage they cause by using their environment as a weapon? Just a random game play thought
