    I was all set to be on CoH until it shut down. Then realized that I would rather remember the happy times playing and not the end.

     

    "Though the good times and the bad..."* I chose to stay untill the end. I was suprised that the words "Lost Connection To Mapserver" did not show up in my last ever screenshot of my leading toon. But by then it was too late to pull out my phone and snap a picture.

     

    I can't remember the song/band. It wasn't Led Zeppelin.

    Pictures taken with my phone right after the end. I figured I'd give it a try just to see what would happen, and maybe it was the world's worst "April Fool's" type joke.

    I've never seen them completely grey before. Not even during server maintenance times (afaicr).

    I'll be blunt: I'm far too bitter about NCSoft's "d*** move" to play another superhero MMO without a great deal of resentment' date=' right now. This is especially true when a) CO always felt more like an arcade "fighter" game than a genuine MMO, and B) I trust Cryptic and PWE almost as little.     Agreed.

     

    From my Facebook: Screw NCSoft. I can understand not wanting the game since it didn't make *enough* money for them. but to kill it outright instead of selling it was uncalled for.

    Edit: technical observation - I can see how it probably occurred. Pages apparently arent updating from a quick reply with quote. It tried to trick me, too. Funky.

     

    For me, it's been doing that on most of my posts since the problem this site had about a week ago, IIRC.

    Interesting. But do planters of the size in the illustration have sufficient room for the roots for trees of that size? What about during a storm with heavy winds -- can the root balls be pulled out of the planters? Then there is the cost of trimming the trees to keep them from growing too tall.

     

    I wonder if some kind of ivy/kudzu might make a better choice... Maybe tomato & (water)melon plants as well? Oooo, how about hops? :D
