  1. A favorite quote of one of my players. I am putting together an NPC team and have an idea based on the mythical character of Phaeton. Per http://www.pantheon.org : Kind of lends itself towards 'fire guy', but I've done the Human Torch and the pyrokenetic. Does the learned panel have any suggestions?
  2. Cut to Homer entering "The Vast Waistband", a clothing store. Homer: I'm looking for something loose and billowy, something comfortable for my first day of work. Salesman: Work, huh? Let me guess. Computer programmer, computer magazine columnist, something with computers? Homer: Well, I use a computer. Salesman: [quietly, to self] Yeah, what's the connection? Must be the non-stop sitting and snacking. [more audibly] Well, sir, many of our clients find pants confining, so we offer a range of alternatives for the ample gentleman: ponchos, muumuus, capes, jumpsuits, unisheets, muslim body rolls, academic and judicial robes -- Homer: I don't want to look like a weirdo. I'll just go with a muumuu. -- Homer, inconspicuous, "King-Size Homer"
  3. This is a character sketch for Dwarfstar, who's stats are posted in "Say Hello to my Little Friend" string.
  4. I posted Dwarfstar's pic in the Superhero Images string.
  5. These are the stats I came up for Dwarfstar, leader of the Peacekeepers mentioned as the premier Chicago superteam in CU. My campaign is a heavy dose of the real history of Chicago, mixed with the official published Champions history in CU. This is just my interpretation of Dwarfstar, and should not be construed as an infrigement of copyright or anything like that. While not a true microscopic shrinking brick, I think he still fits the thread. 6. Power examples that mimic popular comics charaters (Superman's heat vision as a MP: EB, welding, brain surgery in conjunction with X-Ray Vision to Jack Hawksmoore's ability to pull a city around him and use it like battle armor). And the Random Generator! (time permitting)...sometimes being able to do what you wahtever you want makes you yearn for a random character.
  7. This one was modified from a template available on Darran 'Max' Hight's website http://www.wuji-web.com/multiverse_index.html which specializes in WB Animated style art. I am doing all my characters for my new campaign in this style. The site was recommended by Acroyear/Bolt (a really kick @$$ artist in his own right). This is Santeria, one of the NPCs in my campaign.
  8. Heromachine is one of the great inventions of the 21st Century as far as I'm concerned. Here's one I modified with photoshop. King Thunder was inspired by Lightning from Big Trouble in Little China (the more he moves, the more electricity he builds up).
  9. Let me ask this, does the GM seem annoyed with the player as well? If he does, he may just be waiting for another player to come forward and say something. He may have realized his mistake. On the other hand, is the annoying player the GMs best friend or relative? This may be a problem. Most GMs (the good ones IMHO) want the entire group to have fun. If one player is detracting from it, he may be more than willing to have a sitdown with the problem player. Especially if more than one player feels the same as you. If he isn't, maybe this isn't the game for you.
  10. Woohoo!!! Now I can goof off at work even more!
