Re: How to get swords on your starship I read somewhere that in true close combat the knife is superior to the handgun, if fighting on ships, space stations or such includes a lot of melee than the Sword would or could a renaissance in this places, especially shortsword, seax and rapier, add to that that energy weapons need special energy cells because they´re designt not to work with niormal energy cells and swords don`t run out of ammo.

The last time she did raise this blade to heaven she was answered with a storm from her goddess , giving refugees a free passage through a gauntlet of flaming death, a martyr and saint of hergoddess died in this way, fighting unbeatable odds, the enemy army was drowned and cursed(living as a kind of undead in limbo) to the very last man. Also the whole army nows retribution will be swift, merciless till the last of them is put to death through steel or drawn and halved.

The heirs of the predators/makers get lazy, short sighted egoistical and incompetent, some where along the line, the system couldn`t longer have the organisation, ressources and professionalism needed to hold against the pressure.
