I was thinking the dragon was not clutching another moon, but rather a jewel or egg and just kept it really vague... the shape isn't important... but a dragon bigger than the moon is kinda interesting idea... and idea with its own gravity well.
 
The dam has broke. The multi-genre cover was actually done for a few days. And I've had my more usual commissions penciled but not finished. AFter putting the final touches on an oil commission (still drying, I'll post when its dry), I've had time to get back to finishing up the pile of private commissions.
 
UP first is SAdhana, the contest idea accepted by Death Tribble.. and I'm blanking on who actually submitted.

Pickup D&D game tonight. I decide to do something I rarely do, a pretty mindlessly direct greataxe-wielding Barbarian. I hold off my one-and-only berserk rage until the end of the night ... and we encounter the main bad guy.
 
I get the best initiative.
I rage.
I charge.
I attack.
I hit critically.
My 3d12 damage comes up 10,11,12.
Counting my Strength and Power Attack at the time, the damage came up to 53.
Fight over.
 
Everybody just kind of stares at the minis and grid map for a moment. There's an uncomfortable silence, and then ...
 
Me: "Looks like the crit hit the fan.":D

Towards the end of a Fantasy scenario where the players have been facing off against the undead minions of a Liche, all the time being forced back, until eventually they rally some troops and decide to make a final stand. They manage to repulse the enemy attack and so the Liche himself make his entrance to finish off these meddlesome foes...
 
GM (Me): "As the thundering of hooves comes closer through the cold mist a stillness hangs across the field of battle for a moment... then suddenly a twisted chariot of fused bone drawn by skeletal horses bursts forth through the veil, the charioteer is a dread figure, skeletal and rotting, like a zombie with burning eyes dressed in dark robes covered in arcane symbols and weilding a black blade that drips with foul ichor."
 
Steve: (with genuine shock on his face) "What? Who killed him!?!?"
 
We later found out he thought a Liche was just a good necromancer!

They are the points you give to another person when you rep them when they say something you find interesting, funny, insightful, etc. I guess the more points you have the more interesting, funny, and insightful a person you are.

Just what in the bloody blue blazes are these?

Oops. That's what I get for recently seeing Jet Li's Hero... and all under Heaven and Earth. Yup, Emerald and Jade. Yeah, I like Shinjo too.
