Woot!
"Thank you for backing Hero Games and Larry Correia's Monster Hunter International Employee's Handbook and RPG on Kickstarter. The patches and dice are at our warehouse and as soon as the books arrive this week we'll start shipping your rewards....We'll post a Kickstarter update when we've shipped everything, so you'll
know when to start looking for it. Media Mail can take several weeks, but
1-2 weeks is typical."

"Odd Apocalypse" by Dean Koontz. Great series, and the author is pretty good at writing good, page-turner stand alones that don't depend on you reading all the books that came before. Sort of Stephen King-ish thriller material but less concerned with scaring you and more concerned with entertaining you with lovely prose expressing the main character's unique, quirk point of view and internal monologue.

Looked like it was a forgone conclusion except to the mouse. I love the almost bored look of the snow owl, just reeling its snack in calmly.Ran across this on a photography site, not photo-shopping, just a great shot! -

Aw! I'm kicking around the idea of doing it old-school, "Traveller Chargen-Style", where I don't worry (much) about keeping them alive through their character's initiation encounter with a monster, but we just let them die and "roll up" a new one...

Just wondering if there's an updated target date for when the MHI Hero Games book will ship? Still at the printer?

Okay, this is only technically a Victorian era resource because it's an alternate history which extends Queen Victoria's reign: I read and thoroughly enjoyed the first two installments of Kate Locke's "Immortal Empire" series. Queen Victoria along with all the nobility of Europe became either vampires or werewolves during the Black Plague years and are still in power in the year 2013 as the preparations ramp up to celebrate the 175th year of her reign. Steam Punk, Urban Fantasy, Gaslight, Romance (sorry about that) with what I found to be a really interesting setting that I really wish someone had a nice wiki for, because I can totally picture running adventures in that world using the Monster Hunter International rule book.

Has anyone yet listed "The Widening Gyre" from BlackWyrm Games? I got it and liked it tremendously!

Loving the advance PDF's from the Monster Hunter International Kickstarter project.

Truth is often boring and predictable, though it does have other compensating qualities.

Well, it is either the height of class or camp to have a John Phillip Sousa march as the movie theme...Opinions will vary of course, but I personally loved the Doc Savage movie that I first saw in theaters in 1975...of course, I was 9 years old....Full disclosure, I loved the 1994 film version of "The Shadow" with Alec Baldwin too, and I can't blame that on being a kid at the time. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111143/
