As for Abtuse- it's not Obtuse but a word similar that starts with A, and this Cafe comp doesn't have spell check that I can find. Also remember English/Australian/American spelling has variations of spelling of the same words. Apart from that ,some words I just can't spell. But at least you are reading them which means that I have a chance of driving you sane. Abject grovellings Weldun, SWORD was in Sundog's game.

As for the comment about brain cells, due to the max temperatures being above 30C since before Christmas, I haven't had much sleep. Braindead does not begin to describe the state of various members of our group who work odd shifts. Other cases of true brilliance Avatar has vulnerability water, he dived into the 4m wide jellyfish. (98% water) in the bay, wither it breaks and sinks or it doesn't break & he sinks. Same damage either way. Zero (in black suit, at night)flies off after the jellyfish and then calls for help when the passengers spot him. Can't tell them where he is. Miss Chaos doing a Shag (wet wings hung out the side to dry) finally remembers to just turn them off then on again. Flies off after him ( grey robes ,black and grey wings). Avatar heads off after them, one he gets dry. Providing his own light by firing off plasma,in the dark. While trying to find two people in dark clothing, also in the dark. No one got hit. NOte:Do not try reading a character sheet written in pencil with sunglasses on.

Vitus is a hero, 1. he does his best to stop the bad guys disrupting things( it interrupts his research), 2. he gets on well with the locals (well, those he hasn't beaten up or killed), 3. he doesn't break the local laws( well,except with part 1) 4. he's always willing to tell people how great he is. 5. He's registered with Primus (also the local vet and pet grooming service) AS for the Spectre, do you know what happened to the other copy of the video tape? Has he reveiwed Miss Three's website lately?

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... I've worked out the two social problems which cause the most ulcers to characters in our evening game. 1. Vitus gets insulted or annoyed and attacks. 2. Felicity will talk to anyone who is not actively attacking her. Even in the middle of combat. Regardless of who or what they are ,this has included Gravitar(in combat with the rest of the group) and an Archdevil (see1.) Void: (while addressing an archdevil)"We'll just the ultimate evil to leave the room. Felicity can you go now ?" Felicity"Itold you that was onlyif that portals had continued draining through me,that I would become the ultimate evil and all powerful." Tiff(archdevil administrator) "Really. " Forgets Vitus, all attention now on Felicity. After yet another offer of help in gaining power,with Felicity arguing that she is a community protector and in a few hundred years s he'll have enough power to look after a world sized community. Tiff finally left when Felicity kept repeating that the priority was to get her back safely to her home plane so that the could get back to stopping this dimension being destroyed. Unconcerned about the summoners being killed ,from her point of veiw it was suicide.The same thing happened to the people who summoned Vitus. people don't like being yanked out of their home plane. (spacing due to keyboard problems.)

I have just made up a character with EDM anywhere,any Dimension. 1. Do you have to aim, know where you are going or just get there automatically? 2. How do you see where you are going? Dimensional on Clairsentience (or anything else) only goes from your position/parallel position in the other plane. 3. If you have to aim, what are the "Range" modifiers and what happens if you miss? Yes. I remembered to buy Safe BLind Travel. Barbara

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... It's not a Soul Battery, It's a Mana Battery that is using Spirit Energy. And it only goes through walls not people. Wait till I get the one with Life Mana stabilized. That one should go through people but not walls. Felicity hasn't worked out how to keep iut in one place. That's the problems with sorcerers with no training making magic items. AS for the Possibly Evil Empress, Felicity didn't attack her, she Cast Healing, then Aid Rec and then was shot because she didn't know that the aliens didn't speak English.

Doesn't he need"Usable on others" on the shrinking to stop him/her from popping back to full size as soon as he leaves the suit and is out of it's shrinking feild. Yes, it's persistant, keeping the suit and it's contents shrunk but if they aren't in it, then how are they still shrunk? (I'm sure that the grammar and punctuation in that sentence is absolutey wrong.)

You know you've got problems when: The pacifist(code vs killing) in the party says" When he's down, cut his throat. Then we don't have to worry about him anymore." You know you've really got problems when: They walk off because they are more interested in getting a drunken party member out and cleaned up before his girlfriend sees him, than in helping with combat. Feel free to add your own, I have about 4 pages of them from various games. Use the abreviations, it's a lot quicker. eg. YKYGPW: you cast a fireball at the theif threatening your familiar. YKYRGPW: you're a fighter. YKYGPW: you're badly injured party can't rest because of frogs croaking. YKYRGPW: you find out that they are as big as you, more numerous and breathe fire. YKYRPGW: You are completely surrounded by enemies. YKYRGPW: You cast an area effect spell ,with you as ground zero. Which should knock out all the enemies around you but forget about your Vulnerability to that type of attack. Have fun!

Re: Splatproofing megascale flight In answer to various responses. Got luck dice already. Got No Turn mode on flights (slow/fast) Got armour. (Probably not enough.After all, 1km is 500 in move speed, that's 500d6 splat) Thanks for description of movement based DCV's. Will just get Megascale sight. -- Other 'Reality' problems. Windburn. Cold. Dry eyeballs. Whiplash from 180 turns(and your brain goin g from one side of your skull to another.) And the one I thought up last week. If you are flying and carrying a person under you ,by their belt. With No Turn Mode ,you do a 90 turn around a corner in the corridor. Momentum says that they continue in the same direction as before. If your strength isn't up to it, you then follow them into the wall.
