Re: Hardpoint's STR & DEX (understanding the math) It looks like the key to your confusion is the limitations. OIF(-1/2) doesn't halve the cost, it divides it by 1.5. Remember, cost of ability/power is Base points times 1+(total value of advantages) then divided by 1+(the total value of limitations). His base stats are 10. His strength (+30 for 30 points) cost (30/1.5) or 20. Hopefully that helps.

Re: Machine class of minds Some good points both ways. I had a chat with him about this at dinner, and he's kinda interested in being Machine class of mind, but it's not a big deal. As he said: It's just electrical impulses, mine don't have to be any different than a humans. The different classes of minds are interesting but I thin I agree with Ghost Angel, they should be APG material. Thanks!

We are playing a superheroic campaign and one of my PCs is a robot and was thinking about making his character the machine class of mind rather than human. This is the second time he's suggested something like this, last time it was the alien class of minds. Do you think it should cost points to be the machine(or alien)class of mind rather than human? My thoughts are leaning toward charging him 10-15 points for it. It makes him technically immune to 2/3 of the mentalists already made for the campaign. Thanks in advance.

Re: Movement Multipowers Thanks everyone! I like to bounce ideas off you all as I have a bad habit of missing something glaringly unbalanced until we start playing.

I'm looking for some opinions on movement multipowers. I (generally) have no problem with the multipower full of different versions of one movement power, such as flight or teleport. What I'm concerned about is Multipowers full of different movement powers. A player handed me a character with a multipower with Running, leaping and swimming in it. All based off the fact his character is generally athletic. Now, it's not that large 12-15 pt pool and not all the slots are at max values and I like the theme of it, but i'm not sure if there is something i'm missing or if anyone else thinks this is 'broken' or anything. Thanks.
