Trump uses fear and hatred to motivate his supporters. To counter that the Democrats will have to offer a counter message, of hope and compassion. "Anybody but Trump" is not going to do it -- Americans are hungry for a positive vision. But the Dems will need someone who can inspire voters to hope again, as Barack Obama did. No more party apparatchiks like Hillary Clinton.

I feel as though you could google this pretty easily, but:
 
- He denied committed sexual assault under oath.
- He denied drinking heavily under oath.
- He denied knowing about Ramirez' accusations prior to the NYT story, under oath.

Also, he's a sniveling whiner who doesn't have the temperament to adjudicate kids' soccer games, let alone Supreme Court cases.

A fishing expedition with multiple statements in public or under oath that Kavanaugh perjured himself about heavy drinking, knowledge of allegations, and sexual assault. Again, this is not a criminal trial but a job application for the highest court in the world; “beyond a reasonable doubt” is not the level of evidence required.

A little pedantic I know, but Libertarians are considered part of the right wing under the traditional pro-capitalist definition of the term.

The Cruelty Is the Point
 

There is no effing way Trump withdraws Kavanaugh's nom.  The drunk is literally Trump's get-out-of-jail-free card.  Repealing Roe is just a nice byproduct.  They're just holding a sham hearing and a sham investigation to give themselves some political cover so they can hold on to the Senate in a month.
 

A quick question to people who are closely following the Benghazi/Her E-mails controversy:
 
If the FBI investigation turns up nothing, the supposed victims don't follow up with any legal actions, and Trump gets elected to the Presidency, are you planning to let the matter drop or will you be planning to refer to her as a criminal in every Trump rally for the next 8 years?

In my experience, it depended entirely on who you asked.
 
To me, though, it looked like the latter day equivalent of Pulp Hero, and I thought it should have been called something like "Action Hero" or "Action Adventure Hero."
