Unable to get either of their attention Nico decides he’s going to play with Grigori whether he likes it or not. Hiding under the sink in the kitchen Nico bides his time until Grigori comes looking for a drink. Lunging from the cabinet the wild child attempts to latch onto Grigori’s back. Having no clue what is about to transpire Grigori is left to fate and his good Fortune his Characteristics are: Attribute: Fortune 8, Skill: Intuition 8 for a Value of 16.

  3. Re: Ctrl+V The Dark Realm The corner where no light penetrates in the room everyone tells you not to go into; the dream that wakes you screaming that you can never quite remember; the alleyway that turns your resolve into rubber; these are the Dark places. These are the places where the Dark Realm reaches out and teases the waking mind. Where most have the sense to look away, for one brief moment the Dark Lucid embraced these places.

  11. Re: The Certified Serpent Lantern Review As a more causal player I enjoy having smaller teams since it's typically a PUG. If I was teaming with people I knew more often that might change.
  12. Re: What do you really think of Champions Online? To Patrick and Rex's points the Hero system cannot be translated to an MMO because there is no GM. However, CO is the most flexible game I've seen currently on the market the only game that was more flexible was Freedom Force but that was a traditional computer game not an MMO. One of the things that has always bothered me about CO is the rolling puns and lack of quality writing. Honestly I think people, myself included, would be a lot more involved with the game if the missions felt less generic and drew more from the history of the setting. Actually this is something I think they tried to address with Serpent's Lantern and hope they continue to work on with the Adventure packs. Although I really wish they would go back and clean up some of the pitiful story arcs already in the game, give us a reason to read the mission descriptions. Lastly, yes Pets are an MMO staple but in the Hero system you have both Summons and Followers and I'm sure there are people on these boards that can give you a list of Summoner type characters.
  13. Re: Ctrl+V Lost Boys And Golden Girls 2: Into The Big City by Certified on Sep.26, 2010, under Campaign: Lost Boys And Golden Girls The van sits in a circle with other similar homes. Although, not all of them built from dead vehicles. There was a central flame pit for cooking and warmth. As Sera and Rebekka prepared their dinner a trail of smoke can be seen moving up through the tent city coming from out in the Wastes. Shortly after the smoke trail stops moving there is an explosion. Being a medic by trade Sera is quick to start making her way toward the smoke. They are joined by others living in the tent city. By the time they arrive there is a small mob standing behind the B96 guardrails. On the other side was a crashed sedan, it was obvious even from a distance that the vehicle belong to a scavenger. Gear packed away along with a backseat of strange bobbles and a netting over the hood to hold down the rest. Three men stood by the body of a fourth. Clearing the concrete barricade Sera made her way to them. Laying on the ground Half the man’s body was burned badly. Stranger though was the side not exposed to the blast when the engine blew. Fungus seemed to creep out from the fingers along his arm up across his chest and head. Looking at him it was clear this was not gangrene but something fungal, almost moss like. Showing her medical kit the men who had pulled the body from the wreckage backed away. Despite appearances Sera checked for a pulse but the man was long dead.
