  3. Re: Ctrl+V Body Scene: Down In Out In Spandau Downs Most of the buildings in this district are less than ten stories. None of them are above twenty and all of them look like they could fall apart at any moment. The windows are barred but it looks like few people live on ground level, if they live inside at all. They alleyways are strange mazes of plywood and corrugated metal carving out makeshift apartments. Some use the fire escapes of the structures they are wedged between; others use their own ladders from rope or pallets. Pushed back just off the street like most other things in this district out of sight and easily forgotten.

  9. Re: Ctrl+V Prelude Flipping through the stations it seemed that the street violence was only getting worse. Pausing for only a moment There's some overlap from my initial Ctrl+V but that's what was in the buffer at the time. The material above is just first draft stuff and may get revised (and edited) before it's complete. The core book still needs artwork and layout but I want to be ready to go when it is. If you're interested here's a link to the current site.
  10. Re: Ctrl+V The Demon’s Eye: For the last few weeks there have been riots on the streets of the city. Food riots in the slums, political protests gone bad, race wars in Little Osaka, all with no real connection except for the violence. Tensions continue to mount and there is no sign of things letting up.

  12. Re: Ctrl+V Although Fractured Kingdom is not yet in production this year's Dragon*Con moves us one step closer. Running two games, one official and one down in Open Gaming we were able to spend some time with the designers of Untold, the Card Based RPG.
  13. Re: Ctrl+V Example: Chaz is on the ground after falling off a ledge into an alley. Two Corporate Security guards are firing at him from the end of the alley 10 Meters away. Chaz’s defense is effectively 10 higher since he is prone.

  17. Re: Ctrl+V Spellsword 63% Combativeness, 40% Sneakiness, 74% Intellect, 50% Spirituality Aggressive, but with the brains to back it up: You are a Spellsword! Score! You have a prestige class. A prestige class can only be taken after you've fulfilled certain requirements. This may mean that you're an exceptionally talented person, but it probably doesn't. Spellswords combine arcane might with combat know-how. They're much tougher than mages, like to wear armor, and can cast spells through their weapons. They're very, very, good at doing lots of damage to a single target very quickly, and while not quite as tough as most fighters, are still pretty hard to kill. You're both smart and aggressive, which means that you're probably pretty dangerous when pissed off. You also tend to be somewhat straightforward, which is nice, and don't have much use for spirituality or mysticism.

  23. Re: Ctrl+V With Margaret’s Characteristics and Boons completed Chris needs to find 3 more points. Looking over the Drawbacks the one that resonates with him most is Limitation. The first thing that comes to mind is her age. However, this could be interpreted in multiple ways. Talking with David he suggests using the alternate use for Limitation having Margaret loose Health instead of having a general penalty for being old. Thinking about this option Chris decides to take this Limitation at Typical writing down Old, Typical and noting that his health Pool will be lowered by 10. Although he could pick up all 3 points he needs with this Limitation Chris doesn’t want drop her Health to be too low. For a second Drawback Chris suggests Failing Memory, Minor. This imposes a -5 penalty on Margaret for any roll to remember details or events. David agrees with this Limitation and Chris notes it on Margaret’s Character Sheet.
