  3. Having lived in Georgia, this is about all it takes to run for government.
  4. Oh, looks like you got cancer. <Cocks Gun> We have a new treatment method. Now close your eyes, you're going to feel some pressure on the infected area.
  5. Encounter planning, maps, NPC Names, and lore seem to fall into the prep section. Granted in some games, maps can mean world map and combat map, but that's a matter of games with minis or no minis.
  6. Or, and here me out here, run a low prep or collaborative game that doesn't put the weight of everything on the GM.
  7. Alright, I'll make you a deal, once these threads have completed, you compile and dedupe the list, I'll create it on Spotify.
  8. Here's the question, is someone going to create a Spotify playlist with everyone's responses from all the related threads?
  9. Would have listed it here, but I brought it up in a past list, and I'm trying to avoid repeats. Edit: Quick aside, while I don't think the sequel had the same charm, they also had a great soundtrack, Bauhaus, Billy Idol, MDFMK, and surprising good adds from ICP and Pantera.
  10. It's always really interesting to learn these kind of things. Not just in music but in general, like the weirdness around first generation BattleTech mech images, or Night of the Living Dead.
  11. Adventure Seed: Love Struck Love is in the air, or it should be. People are going missing all over the city and things are only getting weirder as the Queen in Red returns with the Heart of Eros and a deadly Valentine's makeover plan. https://housedok.com/love-struck/

  13. Does Flash Gordon or Highlander count or are they just Queen albums. (Yes, I know Highlander is lifting songs from A Kind of Magic...)
  14. Is it cheating to say Hackers (1995) as they released three separate soundtracks? The first was music from the movie, the other two were inspired by, or cut tracks I think. Going to try to avoid repeating anything from past entries. All entries ordered by title, not preference. Traditional Films The Crow (1994) - Band Highlights: The Cure, Helmet, Rollins Band, TKK, Violent Femmes Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie (1994) - Band Highlights: Alice in Chains, KMFDM, Korn (Also, I can't believe I put anime on my list but it's a good soundtrack.) The World's End - Band Highlights: Blur (and it's not Song 2), The Doors, Suede, The Sisters of Mercy Musicals The Blues Brothers Little Shop of Horrors The Rocky Horror Picture Show Honorable Mentions Deathgasm (Because we need more soundtracks with Death Metal....) Knights of Badassdom (Because people should watch the movie) The Lost Boys (Because it's mandatory listening) Repo The Genetic Opera (Because Zydrate comes in a little glass jar.) Shoot 'Em Up (Because sometimes you need some buttrock.)
  15. Going back to the 80s, it was a random meeting at a performance of Cats. Never met Patrick Stewart, although I was at the Dragon*Con a year both he and Shatner attended. Think the closest we got though was across the hall, a very, very crowded hall.
  16. Twice actually, first time was at what may have been the geekiest concert I've ever attended. Went to Comdex and won tickets to a privet concert at a club called the beech, which was little more than a bar with a stage. Everyone there was from the expo so it's all tech industry professionals. Got a free acid while I was there, just not the kind you would expect. This wasn't really meeting him, but more a we ended up in very close proximity after the concert. Side note: The concert stopped for a brief moment when a couple got a bit too friendly on top on one of the speakers and everyone needed to take a moment to see what was going on. The second time was in like '99 or 2000, I think he was looking for a tour manager when I ran into him. It was really only a passing meeting, no fun story there.
