  1. When you thought he would end up as some guy on the couch, who knew?
  2. For fun, I'm going to ho with Shatner to see if there is a story around meeting them.
  3. He would be correct. At least in the early transition where CAT routes and stops seemed completely random.
  4. Going to post this here with the note, I don't want people to get sick, I hope for the world to recover.
  5. From what I know about him I can believe that.
  6. Quick non-sequitur, as someone who lived in Vegas and rode CAT quite extensively, it always amused my the nickname I heard for the bus service:: Can't Afford Transportation This is of course picking on people who don't have cars. However, I would point out that we were on the bus, so clearly we could afford some transportation. Also, that route that hit every mall was super useful, if weird.
  7. The note was more for context. It was in the 80s when we met.
  8. Shared a flight with Michael Jackson, somehow we, well his entourage, and my mother and I, were the only ones on a first class flight. Forget where we were going though, I was younger, and we flew a lot when I was a kid.
  9. If you don't got Mojo Nixon then your store could use some fixin'

  11. There are others, my wife and I were just talking about getting stuck in an elevator with Betsy Palmer at Dragon*Con, but this should be a fun list. James Earl Jones, Actor Joe Walsh, Musician Michael Jackson, Musician Michael Lang, Founder of Woodstock Patrick Stewart, Actor

  14. Thinking mostly of albums I can listen to straight though. Not sure if these are the best of all time, but this is what's coming to mind right now. All lists are in order of album name. Current Top 5 Floodland - Sisters of Mercy Seventh Son of a Seventh Son - Iron Maiden Who Killed Amanda Palmer - Amanda Palmer Wild Birds - Peter Murphy Workshop of the Telescopes - Blue Öyster Cult Honorable Mentions Bauhaus 1979–1983 - Bauhaus Casting Shadows - Wolfsheim Dirt - Alice In Chains Vapor Transmission - Orgy She Wants Revenge - She Wants Revenge Finally, because I'm already breaking the rules, soundtracks! (Fight me!) The Crow (1994) Donnie Darko (2001) Hackers (1995) Heavy Metal (1981) Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001)
  15. Let's see, currently listening to the Siouxsie and the Banshees' cover of the Passenger, always a good song. Not sure if that's in my top three, but it's a good song. At the moment, I'm going to go with: This Corrosion - Sisters of Mercy Runs in the Family - Amanda Palmer Infra-Red - Placebo She's In Parties - Bauhaus Yeah, that's four songs not three, and they are in the order I found them on my current playlist. Five if you count the Passenger, but I might go with Spellbound or This Wheel's On Fire over that. Orgy's Fiction almost made the list as well. That was a tough one not to include. Another tough cut was Find You Gone by Wolfsheim. There's also a fair amount of Rasputina on this playlist I really like, that I cut out, if for the history lesson alone, I'll point you at 1816, the Year Without A Summer. Off this playlist there's probably some Iron Maiden and Velvet Underground that needs to be represented. In short, three songs is not enough.
