Win-win. Schlump gets to feel like a big man, and he gets a two-week bump in his approval numbers. Until the next tariff.

Yeah, great deterrent, huh?
Not to mention, Sanchez? PED's? Really? When was the last time he was asked to perform, let alone enhance it?

It'd give Hell in a Cell all new meaning.

There are people on this forum that will fail their beserk roll if you imply that there was a sequel to the film Highlander.
It existed. That's about all you can say in its favor.

? Puzzling. I know that it has been a long time since I read comics. I started loosing interest in the early 90's when they seemed (to me) to change their emphasis away from superhero adventure. Since then I have only occasionally picked up a trade that caught my eye. Since there weren't any Superhero books of interest, I mostly picked up Batman who is a reliable non-superhero vigilante.
But I found the HL Joker to be a complete departure from any Joker I had ever seen.
I had never seen any print with that Joker until they started putting out books after the movie. At least I never noticed them till after.
But HL did a fantastic job with the part. But to me it wasn't Joker ?
Go back to the original Joker and his rewrite in the '70's, not the cartoon character that Cesar Romero played in the series or the comics of the '60's, which were heavily influenced by the Comics Code.

Can you believe Stefanie Powers last theatrical movie was in 1978?
She looked pretty good for her age too; I saw her recently guest-programming on TCM. I had no idea she was William Holden's partner for many years.

Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict suspended four games for PED violation
Not to mention giving away a shot at the playoffs. Time to cut bait, if you ask me.

Sure, if the powers don't change but the psychology does...Humble Harold becomes Homicidal Hal.

I have had a complaint from some Spanish church officials that some people aren't taking their sudden appearance with the degree of amazement it deserves.

I'm a sucker for Golden Age, but I have to give it to BoloOfEarth for originality and interesting use of a power. Congrats!

I met him once; he seemed pretty cool. I still hate how TNG became the Wesley Crusher Show, though.

Now this will the torches and pitchforks....
I thought Heath Ledger played the part he was given well.
But I didn't like that version of Joker.
No pitchforks, maybe a Batarang or two...
I thought it was great. It cleaved closer to the comics and was a wide departure from previous portrayals.

Controversial offensive lineman Richie Incognito says he is retiring. Though I doubt he will be much missed (he was named in a bullying scandal that led to a player leaving his team and resulted in a long suspension), but his claim that his liver and kidneys have "stopped working" due to stress is something that, if true, I would not wish on anyone.
Yep, the bullying thing was probably the primary reason he left the Dolphins.
I have no sympathy for him. He's a racist POS.

Your link rates Oliver's statement as "half true"; his statement is erroneous in the way you mention, but the overall point is that the people of Kentucky lag behind most of the country in Internet access or use. However, it's important not to try to extrapolate a source's accuracy from one incident; it would be better to try and get a sense of the source's truthiness overall.
And, just for comparison (and less pretty because I didn't go to the effort that Old Man did), Herr Trump's scores:
- True 25 (5%)
- Mostly True 62 (11%)
- Half True 83 (15%)
- Mostly False 121 (22%)
- False 173 (32%)
- Pants on Fire 79 (15%)
It actually surprises me that one in three things he says is at least half-true.

That's a pretty impressive job of klutzing it up. Lucky for her it wasn't something more corrosive than acetone.
I'm going to guess she didn't wind up with a degree in chemistry.
