  1. Re: I killed a PC. The spirit quest idea is awesome. But everything comes at a price and you don't expect all those who set out on that quest to return. Maybe they have to bargain with the Keeper of Souls ("A soul for a soul! That is the rule since the beginning of time itself."). Or one of the PCs gets lost or caught in the spirit dimensions. Lots of possibilities! But there always should remain a tragic element in your story. As was said before don't create a precedent.
  2. Re: Making up a current Day Germany for Champions..... Some story ideas: Shield and Sword of the Party: In the German Democratic Republic the socialist regime tested all citizens for paranormal abilities. Those who tested positive were enlisted into service for the Ministry for State Security (Ministerium für Staatssicherheit or short Stasi), the secret police. With the downfall of the Berlin wall and the unification of the two German states most of these individuals went into hiding. They adopted new identities and used their powers secretly to avoid getting caught. In those last crazy days of the GDR the headquartes of the Stasi had been looted and destroyed by the people. But not all of them were citizens of Eastern Germany, some were CIA agents who secured some of the Stasi files for their own purposes. Amongst these, all of the files about the paranormals. These files were given back to Germany in 2000. The heroes are approached by government officials to investigate some of the names that can be found in these files. 1) some live in the US and work for the CIA 2) some used their powers for personal gain and created a network of former Stasi employees now engaged in criminal activities 3) some completely turned away from their past and tried to live a quiet live, hiding their secret, trying to forget everything 4) and only a few became full-scale supervillains Wayland the Smith: this legendary character came back to Germany. He uses his powers to forge magical items and weapons which he sells for horrendous prices or, most likely, personal favors. The heroes might encounter a group of other superpowered characters (good or evil?, you decide) who are all wearing equipment forged by Wayland. It is now up to them to determine what his plans and goals are. And why does he need these minions? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayland_Smith http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wieland_der_Schmied

  5. Re: Making up a current Day Germany for Champions..... Testing the girls for paranormal abilities could be linked to the vaccination program versus rubella/German measles in school. But since I am from Schleswig-Holstein (and so theoretically a Prussian) I might not be of any help.
  6. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine you can find lots of character creator sites here: http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72794

  9. Re: Superhero Images I especially like Leopardess. She has a great female body without being too exaggerated if you know what I mean.
  10. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine It is HM3. Thanks Arc. HM3 is the reason why I don't create any Fabrica characters at the moment. HM3 is just such a cool app. But it takes some time to get used to it and even then I need about an hour for a character. More so if play around with the pose. Peacemaker was my entry for last weeks contest, the challenge was to create a character in the spirit of 90's IMAGE characters.
  11. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Peacemaker: he roamed the streets of Image City (Legatusverse) from 1992 till 1998
  12. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Goldeneye: this young villain knows nothing else than greed and hate, accompanied with the ability to unleash an energy blast of monstrous level from his eyes that makes up for a pretty evil person. He is used to get what he wants and either hegets his way or BOOM! Goldeneye was captured by The Outlaws in San Antonio, Texas. From here he went straight to high security prison at the bottom of the ocean. Granity: Created in Russia in the winter of 1942, when the body of a young girl was sacrificed and bonded with an earth elemental, this most evil lady has been around for quite some time.

  18. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Fuego: the daughter of an inventor from Mexico, after his death she took his machinations and wrecked havoc all over Vera Cruz. She was finally captured eight months later in Honduras and sent to a high security super villain prison. Gabriel Eagle: is the son of a villain from the 70's (Eagle Claw), he inherited his wings from his father. Being a mutant child of a villain led him to a life of crime very early. He was captured in Bukarest, Romania, and sentenced to seven years of prison. During his "career" he always carried a big gun firing rubber stun bullets.
