I realize what the laws say, but with the way Trump has been acting combined with his conviction should America introduce a requirement where any felony will disqualify someone from any elected and appointed position? This would include all of congress, president, Supreme Court.

Imagine how society would develop if humanity never figures out how to travel FTL. This will apply to both physical and communication. Physical travel will get upto 50% lightspeed and communication will be either physical restrictions or limited to the speed of light, depending upon if there are physical aspects or is purely energy. How would society hold itself together? Would society fragment into different groups? What are the advantages and disadvantages? How would things work? Any other comments are welcome.

So, the AI priorities are power plants, power grids, robotics, mining, processing, manufacturing, and space vehicles.
AI already creates and spreads information. Now it targets public opinion on these industries. Which influences social and legal policies. Any humans profiting from these sectors, including finance and infrastructure, will happily embrace these policies.
And once these sectors gather enough wealth, more and more humans will join in. We will joyfully participate in the all-consuming efforts to build the AI utopia. Then cheer as it consumes Earth’s resources and soars into the heavens. While we tap away on our AI-designed devices purchased with our new AI-created wealth.
It doesn’t sound too bad, really.
I doubt if there is consciousness effort behind it, but it sounds like this is what is actually happening behind the scenes.

Something I have often wondered about is how these potions are carried. Most of the time they are shown in glass bottles but glass is a poor container for those leading a dangerous lifestyle since they quickly break with little stress. A better choice would be leather pouches since they can conform to what is needed, less likely to get damaged, the greatest problem is that unless properly lined they will absorb and or leak.

While not familiar with this one in particular, if based upon the one for Dr. Strange, I would create it more as a plot device location and tessarct. Whenever the owner needs a room for a particular reason, suddenly the room is there regardless if it was before or not. The mansion will always be large enough for whatever he desires for it.
